Warm Your Heart

"I'm freezing! Why did you bring me here Jack?" Rapunzel asked through chattering teeth.

Her 70 feet of long, golden hair was tied up into a complex braid (that Jack had helped her do this morning) was fixed so she couldn't wrap it around herself and her simple purple dress doing nothing to help with the cold. Even her feet were bare and having a full blast of the icy snow.

Jack laughed and picked her up in his arms and pressed her small frame to his chest to prevent her feet from touching the ground to keep her warm.

"Sorry Punzie, I forgot you aren't immune to cold like I am," okay, so maybe he was lying, he totally remembered, he just wanted to have an excuse to carry her like this.

Despite the fact that people usually got colder around him it seemed to have the opposite effect on her and she blushed a little before snuggling closer to him, "Sheesh, it's so cold! Look! My lips are turning blue!" she said and pointed to her lips.

'Oh Punzie you really shouldn't tempt me,' Jack thought with a chuckle and smirked.

"Let me help you with that."

A puzzle look crossed Rapunzel's face, "How can you help? I mean you're the spirit of sno-mph!" the rest of her sentence was cut off as Jack's lips came crashing down on hers.

His lips moved rhythmically against hers and his eyes were closed as he savored the moment while Rapunzel's eyes were wide open from shock before she closed them and began kissing him back, her fingers tangling themselves through his snow white hair while he lifted her higher to have an easier access.

After awhile (actually a very long while) they broke apart and just stared at each other with a smile.

"How's your lips now?" Jack asked teasingly.

She looked at him in confusion before realization dawned upon her and an unknown courage flowed through her as she grabbed his shirt and pulled him towards her until there was a small gap between their lips, "Hmm, still a little frosty, maybe doing that again would help more," she whispered and kissed him.

Now it was Jack's turn to be shocked but he responded quickly and kissed her back fervently.

Oh what a hot snow day.
