Well, as I'm procrastinating on my other project, and on a Wicked high, because
my tickets to see Wicked for the second time (live) came in a little while ago.
Kristin Chenoweth guest judged on 'So You Think You Can Dance?' on Wednesday! It made me happy :P
btw, there was a really cool thing on SYTYCD, they had a guest performance and there was a dance company who helped disabled people, and they had a dancer in a wheelchair. It was really cool and-
Nessa: don't you even THINK about it!
Me: but-
Nessa : *glares*
Me: fine…
This was inspired by a little piece of fanart.
Disclaimer-I don't own Wicked, or the fanart.
Galinda awoke on a Saturday morning, and opened her eyes. Well, she tried, one eye opened, but her right eye stayed closed as if it was glued shut. "Elphie!" she screeched in panic towards her best friend, who was startled awake by the blonde.
"Lin…" she groaned, still half-asleep, "what do you want?"
"Elphie, I can't open my right eye!"
the green girl rolled over and reluctantly arose. She crossed the room towards her friend and examined the eye, "I'll be right back." Elphaba announced, after coming to a conclusion, and went to the bathroom. She grabbed a washcloth and wet it with hot water under the tap. Once returning to Galinda's side, she held the washcloth out to her friend, "Put this on your eye." She instructed. The blonde pouted, but obliged and held it on her face until the crust on her eye came away on the cloth.
"Thanks, Elphie." She said as she handed the towel to the green-skinned girl. "Now, what is wrong with me?" Galinda asked, dramatically.
Elphaba smirked, "Well, it seems your unnatural love of pink is spreading to your eye. You have pink-eye, my friend."
"oh…"
"It'll get better in about a week. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going back to bed." The green girl curled back up into her bed and promptly went to sleep.
ONE WEEK LATER
Elphaba awoke and opened her eyes. Well, her right eye. She went to the bathroom and wet down a washcloth, gently rubbing it on her eye. She looked in the mirror and saw her left eye was red and bloodshot.
Elphaba stomped back into the main room, "GALINDA!" she saw her friend sitting on her bed, reading a magazine.
The blonde looked up, startled, "Elphie, what's wrong?" she asked.
"You gave me your pink-eye!" Elphaba said, exasperated.
"Pink goes good with green…?"
