A huge mother ship, known as the Great Fox was moving at a very slow speed though the Lylat system. It had been months since Andross Oikonny's war ended towards the entire Lylat system. Now, its peace at last, but the problem with that for Star Fox has barely any money to spend on them and they rely on missions for the money for the upkeep of the Great Fox supplies and condition of the weapons onboard.
"Hey Fox, we're in a serous crisis right now about money. It only been months since we had a mission and we're in no position to buy anything for ourselves. When are we going to get one by General Pepper?" Falco Lombardi asked to the young leader of Star Fox and saviour of the Lylat system, Fox McCloud.
"Falco, I know that we like to spend money, but we're broke and I'm still waiting patiently for a call from General Pepper for a mission that we could do. We are on a budget ourselves so we will have enough money for food," Fox says to Falco. Fox checked his electronic watch and he heard it beeping loudly that he can hear. He saw a mini-projection of General Pepper and answered it in his leadership tone.
"Fox McCloud here."
"Important message by General Pepper," ROB said. "It's about your new mission."
"ROB, could you call Slippy and Peppy to the main lounge. And one last favour, send the transmission from General Pepper to the main lounge," Fox ordered ROB.
"Affirmative," ROB's words were as the messages were transmitted to Slippy Toad and Peppy Hare electronic watches to come up to the main lounge right now. They appeared to the main lounge of the Great Fox.
"What's now, Fox?" Slippy asked the vulpine.
"We got a transmission from General Pepper," Fox replied.
"Finally in these hard times we got our mission," Peppy wiped his forehead for relief.
"ROB, could you now play the transmission," Fox ordered ROB.
The transmission from General Pepper showed up on the television set.
"Star Fox, we're in desperate need of your help. The Cornerian Army checked the planet Venom a couple weeks ago and a very strange black aura formed around the planet. Nobody has been able to get inside the planet and I think it got to do with Andross, which got supposedly killed by you guys a couple months ago," General Pepper begged. "Now by the looks of the things, it looks like Andross is trying to get payback for what you guys did to him at Venom and we need you to stop this madman from causing hell in the Lylat system. If you do accept this mission, the mission fee will be approved before you do the mission."
"Now great, that sadistic bastard is back and now wants payback. Damn him!" Falco cursed as he slammed his fist hard on the steel door of the Great Fox.
"Now, I got my reasons to fight in honour of my father. I'll make Andross rot in hell for what he did to him," Fox stated. "Is all of you guys in for this mission?"
The entire team of Star Fox said 'I' as a response.
"General Pepper, sir. I accept this mission and I won't fail you or the Cornerian Army," Fox addressed General Pepper.
"Alright, this mission will begin two days after from now. Be careful and let God be on your side, Star Fox,"
Those were the last words from General Pepper as the television fades to pitch black.
"Slippy, would you go do some adjustments to the arwings tomorrow," Fox told Slippy.
"Yeah, sure," Slippy said.
"We're leaving when Slippy gets the arwing done, guys," Fox telling the entire crew of Star Fox.
Next time in Sadistic Game, a new pilot joins Star Fox and some people call him 'The Game' (Not Triple H) because he could defeat anybody in the simulator in the Cornerian Flight Academy.
