Ch.1 – New Case
"You're going on a date aren't you." A man with black hair, blue eyes, unshaven face in a gray shirt with matching pants and jacket carrying a cane waltzes into an office.
"Have you been stalking me again House? I thought you were working on a case." A man with light brown hair and bluish hazel eyes wearing a tan suit puts down the paper he was reading.
"Oh save it Wilson. Who's the chick?"
"What makes you think I have a date House?"
"You skipped lunch, left the building and came back with a bag containing clothes. There's been a slight bounce in your step. You've been almost silently humming. You smell like you just came out of the shower and this room smells like flowers. Now who's the chick?"
"Must you always be so determined to ruin my good day? Could it be… that you're… jealous?"
"Preposterous. But if you bring the chick to me so I can analyze her, I'm sure that would make a great dating experience."
"She already knows you."
"Really? And she's dating you? What could possibly be going through her mind?"
"I don't date assholes." Both males turn to find 2 women standing in the door. One is a brunette with shoulder-length curly hair and angry hazel eyes in a white lab coat. The other has long black hair in small natural waves with 2 different colored eyes, one a deep brown and the other a foggy white, in a slender, powder blue dress.
"What do you want Cuddy." House addresses the brunette as Wilson rushes over to the black-haired woman.
"Kagome what happened?"
"The shrine was attacked last night. He got away but not without a few scratches. Sadly he threw something in my face, I don't know what it was. I made sure I cleaned everything but this morning I couldn't see out of my right eye." She points to the foggy white one. "I tried to call you but my depth perception was off." She lifts her dress sleeve to show bruising down her right arm. "I'm afraid I haven't been having the best of days. I ran into this lady, quite literally, and she was nice enough to bring me here."
"You're not hurt anywhere else are you?"
"No Wilson. But I'm afraid we won't be able to go out tonight."
"Oh how sad." House snickers. "And here I was hoping for a show."
"I wouldn't go too far if I were you." Cuddy blocks the door when House tries to escape. "She's your new case."
