This story was originally posted as 'Grey Stone' on May 22, 2012. It was the first story I wrote and honestly, I didn't except it to get as much positive feedback as it did. I decided to rewrite it due to lack of effort and LOTS of grammar mistakes.

Here you go :)

Beastboy: (sarcastically) Oh great! This is my favorite part of the story! The legal part!

Cyborg: Does that mean your gonna say it?

Beastboy: Nope.

Starfire: Friend Cyborg, I do believe the turn is yours.

Cyborg: *sigh* Theauthorchickiepoodoesnotownteentitans(trademark)beastboyravenrobinstarfireormyselfsheisasillygirlwhoonldreamsofowningusandthenameteentitansbecausethenshewouldmakeanotherseasonandtheentirefanbasewouldbeextaticbutsincethathasnthappenedyetenjoythisstoryfilledwithborrowedcharatersownedbydccomicsandcartoonnetwork *deep breathe* deep breathe*

Chickie-Poo: Admit it. You totally just tried reading that as fast as you could. Anyway hope you enjoy the story. RR and please no flames, this is my very first story.

It is a sunny, peaceful morning in Jump City. Cyborg and Beast Boy are in the common room playing the newest game on the Game Station. Robin is at the kitchen table sharpening a new addition to his utility built. (A/N I'm pretty sure that, like knifes, Robin's weapons must be sharpened, too.) Starfire is in the kitchen as well preparing breakfast for Silkie. All the Titans but one is present. Her present, however, has gone unnoticed. That is until the resident changeling notices the current time.

"Hey guys, it's already like 10, and Raven's still not here." Beast Boy says, breaking his concentration on the game. This allows Cyborg to destroy his character and win the game… for the 20th time in a row.

"BOOOOOOOOOYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

"Aw dude no fair I was distracted!"

"What's your excuse for the last 19 times?" Cyborg said taunting him.

"I...I...and you... but the game." Beast Boy paused. "WHATEVER! I WANT A REMATCH!"

"Making my winning streak even longer?" Cyborg looks at the green teen next to him. "YOUR ON!"

The two continue playing the game, but Beast Boy's observation of Raven's absence is noticed in the kitchen as well.

"Robin, I think Friend Beast Boy has a point. I haven't seen Raven at all morning. Perhaps, we should-" the alien princess begins before the boy wonder interrupts her.

"Star, I'm sure Raven is fine. Just leave her alone until she comes out on her own."

"Yes I know, but maybe we should make sure that she is the ok."

"Star, remember last time? We left her alone and the problem was resolved."

"Well yes but only because-"

"We left her alone."

"No, Cyborg and Beastboy did the stepping off in and helped Raven solve her problem."

"Star that's not true."

"How do you know? We don't know what happened that day (A/N from the episode Nevermore) because we never stepped in or asked."

Robin has no response for the alien. Starfire, feeling satisfied, begins to walks to Raven's room. Robin stops her by grabbing her wrist. "Star," he begins before he is cut off by her raised hand.

"No, I will not stand by and watch again." With that, she exits the room and leaves a stunned Robin behind.

Meanwhile in Raven's Room...

"If I'm right, this spell should work." Raven whispers to herself adding the final ingredient to the potion: a lucky penny.

The strange concoction begins to turn different colors as smoke fills the room. A large flash of light appears. This causes Raven to shield her eyes. As quickly as the light appeared, it is gone, leaving a small copper ring in its place.

"I think it worked," Raven whispers very quietly.

She picks up the small ring and slips it onto her slender ring finger. Once the cool material touched her skin, another bright copper light fills the room.

Raven stands up. She begins walking towards her door. She opens the door to see Starfire about to knock.

"Oh, hello friend Raven. I noticed you did the sleeping in and it is 10, and you have still not had your morning tea. Also, there were lights from under your door, and I was curious as to what you might be doing."

"I have been making this all morning," Raven says, givingng Starfire the ring.

"Glorious! But what is it?"

"If I did it right it should be able to-"

"Starfire I told you to let her come out on her own." a frantic Robin calls as he rushes towards Raven's room. He notices the empath and acknowledges her, "Hey Raven. What's been keeping you there so long?"

Starfire answers him, "It is a strange jewelry, that Raven got from- Where did you get it, Raven?"

"I made it."

"You made that ring?" Robin asks.

Raven nods, and Starfire continues, "But how? It is, I believe, metal?" Starfire fiddles the ring in her hand before handing it back to the half demon.

"I'll explain later. Right now I'm gonna test it out." Raven deadpans while putting the ring on. A copper light appears again as it makes contact with the half demons skin but then disappears. She and the other two Titan walk back to the common room.

Back in the Common Room...

"I win again!"

Beast Boy jumps up, yelling, "Cy, that's not fair! You cheated!"

"I didn't and you know it!"

"Did too!"

"Did not!"

"Did-" Beast Boy stops as he hears the door opened and Raven, Starfire, and Robin enter. "Hey Rae! We were beginning to worry."

Raven makes her way over to the couch and sits down, book in hand. The green changeling sits back down as well. He smiles, realizing that Raven didn't correct his nickname for her. Cyborg just glances over, and changes the TV to some action movie or other. Starfire begins washing the dishes, and Robin helps her. Raven looks up from her book and over at Beastboy, who looks back at her. Fortunately, for Raven, Beastboy looks away quickly, for, unfortunately, her hood isn't up to cover her blush. Noticing nothing is encased in dark energy, she decides it is now or never. She stands up and moves in front of the changeling. Starfire, Robin, and Cyborg braced themselves for another argument to break out.

"Oh, no! What did I do this time?! I swear it was an accident! And I'm so so so so so sorry!-" he is interrupted by a pair of pale lips meeting his. He instinctively melts into the kiss. Not realizing exactly what is happening, he wraps his arms around her waist to bring her closer.

The other three Titans in the room stare at the two confused. Robin stares at his team members as if they've grown four heads, Cyborg's jaw rests on the floor, and Starfire slowly has a smile creep onto her face.

Raven pulls away first. The kiss lasts a few seconds, but it felt like hours. Beast Boy slowly drops his arms from her waist and looks up at Raven expectantly with a goofy yet confused smile on his face. Everyone is silent. The half metal man, princess, and boy wonder are in complete shock.

Beast Boy looks deep into her violet eyes. He realizes how beautiful they are. Then the realization of what just happened hits him like a brick wall. "Did you just..."

Raven nodded.

"And nothing went..." he symbolizes an explosion with his hands.

Raven shakes her head and smiled. A true smile.

"Your smiling now, too? But how? Not that I don't like it because I do. I love it."

Raven holds up her hand with the copper ring on. "As long as I have it on, this will let me express my emotions."

Beast Boy stands up. The two are now mere inches apart. Beast Boy leans in and whispers in her ear, "I could get use to this." He gently cups Raven's check and steps closer to her. He leans in and captures Raven's lips in another kiss. She wraps her arms around his neck to get closer to him.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! What in the name of Sam's hack is going on here!?" Cyborg yells, ruining the beautiful moment.

"Yes, I am most confused. Happy but also confused..." Starfire says, coming closer to the couch.

Robin was too confused to say anything.

"I made this ring that will let me show emotions." Raven explains.

"HOW!?"

"With a lucky penny," she says, smiling at Beast Boy.

Beast Boy's eyes ligth up, "Is that the penny I gave you during the end of the world?"

"Yes." Raven answers.

"What is happening!?" Robin yells holding his head.

"The main ingredient is something sentimental. It only seemed appropriate to use the penny Beast Boy gave me."

"A penny?"

"The penny he gave me before we defeated Trigon."

"I can't believe you kept it." Beast Boy says smiling.

"I'm glad I did." Raven said with the same smile.

Starfire is practically touching the ceiling with happiness. "Oh this is a glorious day! I shall make the festive, gloundork pudding to celebrate!" She says as she rushes into the kitchen, but not before giving Beast Boy and Raven a bone crushing hug.

Cyborg gets up and picks Beast Boy up by his collar. "I may not get it all, but hurt one hair on my baby sister's head, and you will be stuffed and hung on my mantel." He growls.

He lets Beast Boy go and passes Robin, who hands the half robot twenty bucks. "You got lucky, predicting this one." The Teen Wonder mumbled. Cyborg smirked. Betting was fun, if you were on the winning end.

"We'll talk about this later." Robin says before going into the kitchen to help Star.

Beast Boy gives Raven a hug and smiles at her. "That penny was luckier than I ever would have guessed."

Chickie-Poo: So I hoped you guys liked it please review, it will help me become a better writer in the (hopefully) many years to come. No flames or I'll send Robin on you with his mad ninja skills.
