Saori's P.O.V.

I stepped out of my yellow tent, and looked up at the sky. Clear skies, heading our way! I crawled back into the tent and gently woke Azumi up. We were twins, but I was the younger. Naturally, Azumi was the "boss" and often slept late. She had told me to wake her up in the morning, so I did. I didn't like it, but she was the oldest, and I treated her with respect. I didn't get it; she was only 8 minutes older. Now we were both 13 years old. My mother had died soon after we were born, and my father had turned into an alcoholic and most days did nothing but laugh at the T.V and drink. He forgot our birthdays, and didn't care about our grades, even though we did our best to keep them stellar. He was not the best parent; he was attention-lacking. Yet, he was not abusive. We are both surprised and wondered why he was not abusive, but we still did not enjoy the life our father gave us. We agreed on running away at the age of 5. Nine years later, we were still like this. We still went to school, but we took turns at school and work (we worked at a cosplay café and video game rental store). But, this time, we were taking a few days of unpaid leave, and so we both got to go to school. It was a win-win! We crossed a bridge near our tent that we used to get out of the woods and near the school. Conveniently, the forest was right behind our school. Our tuition was being paid by our maternal grandfather, Kenji. Then we entered the city. Azumi was a lot more detail-oriented then I was, so she led the way most of the time. She was undoubtedly better with directions. On our way, we passed a sign saying, "The Vocaloids! Concert tickets bought online will get 30% off!" I was confused. Azumi looked puzzled as well. Who were the Vocaloids?
