Cam stood at his stall preparing a special bouquet. Valentine's Day was tomorrow, and this year he was determined to do something special for Laney. He didn't know when his feelings for her had started. All he knew was that he had been in love with her for a long time and chose to do nothing about his feelings. Thankfully, the local farmer had knocked some sense into the florist and convinced him to take action. Cam wasn't much for words, but he could use his craft to declare his love to her.
Cam carefully selected the flowers for the bouquet. White freesias for her sweetness, pink ranunculus for her charm and beauty, red roses for his love for her, and baby's breath for what he hoped would be everlasting love.
Cam took a deep breath as he finished the bouquet. I hope she likes it.
