Back and forth we go

Adrien thinks that Ladybug doesn't love him as Cat Noir. Marinette thinks that Cat Noir loves her as her citizen self even though she is Ladybug. Back and forth they go trying to figure out who their true love really is. A lot of Marichat. Slight Ladrien. Adrienette comes true in the end.

Hi, name's Sweetheart98. This is my first fanfic and I decided to make it on Miraculous. Particularly Adrienette. I hope you enjoy!

A navy blue sky decorated with stars like sprinkles greeted a new night. And a new villain.

Both Ladybug and Cat Noir were exhausted and the city was 92% destroyed. "Lucky Charm!" Ladybug cried. The ladybugs shape shifted into a candle.

A square candle.

She knew what to do. "Cat Noir! I need you to fend him off as much as I can! I'll be right back!"

Cat Noir was suspicious even though he already knew what this was all about. "I can't do this alone, milady!"

"Please, Chat."

She left leaving Chat alone and well, almost defenseless.

"Milady!"

Ladybug turns around to find the villain has Cat Noir in a clasp and is about to take his Miraculous. She throws the yo-yo and frees Chat.

She turns back around to reach the Guardian's dwelling place. Cat Noir, fighting one-on-one with this villain, was processing his thoughts at the same time.

Maybe Ladybug just sees me as a comrade and nothing else.

The villain strikes Cat Noir's left arm and he heard a crack.

Pain immediately rushed through his entire arm as he tries to steady himself.

His vision starts blurring as the pain becomes more intense.

"Where are you, Ladybug?!"

She comes back with Queen Bee and helps Cat Noir. The villain was defeated and after capturing the akuma, Ladybug cries, "Miraculous Ladybug!"

Everything goes back to normal except Cat Noir's arm. He was about to grab his baton from behind when he winces and yelps in pain. Ladybug turns around and sees Cat Noir, grasping his arm. She reaches out to help him, but he swats her hand away.

"Where were you, Ladybug?"

He realized he was yelling as she stood there, still like a statue.

"I-I needed to get help for both so I figured-"

"So you figured what? You were going to leave me here to fend for myself while you can get out of it?"

"If it weren't for Queen Bee, Paris would still be in peril!"

"SO WHAT?! Does it matter? Fine. How about this? You go your way, I'll go mine. That way we know just how much we really care about each other!"

"Chat, please! You're reckless! I don't want you to get even more hurt than you need to be!"

"So finally you are concerned about Chat Noir, the bad luck sidekick who thinks he can get a chance from the way better Miraculous Ladybug. Not having it."

"Chat."

She sees him leaving and wincing in pain while using his baton.

"What have I done wrong, Tikki?"
