nermal had this problem lately with anxiety
poking his head through the dog door
over and over again before waltzing to garfield
two kings of confidence
but one has a kingdom over false pretenses
that is nermal
dreaming of being so beautiful
that even fawns fawn
that birds fly near him to just to die
and garfield
will finally say some variation
of an apology
something like
"I will not send you away"
nermal is too young and repetitive to know how affection is reciprocated
and he usually fantasizes like this
as the box closes down
and the darkness for nermal is not dark
but he close his eyes and lets it really happen
