Sleep Shikamaru!
I roll to the left, then to the right, then to the left again, before I fell off the bed.
"Damn!"
I pound my fist on the floor, unsuccessfully, attempting to release my frustration.
I miss her...
I love her so much...
Just 2 more days until I get to see her...
Temari...
"Lazy Ass!" A familiar, obnoxious, female voice yells.
I just scoff. "Troublesome women." I mutter under my breath.
Apparently, she heard me and decided that whacking me on the side of the head with her big-ass fan would make up for my insult.
"Damn Temari! I swear you're gonna kill me with that fan someday." I scold, while shooting her a glare.
She gives me a sarcastic smirk. "Well, you don't talk to your girlfriend like that, crybaby."
I cringe at the use of my very old nickname.
I thought we had an agreement to never mention that name EVER again...
"Come on, Shikamaru. Let's do something," Temari whined.
I take her hand and lead her out of the village to "do something".
I look up at her face, partially shaded by the branches and leaves of the Oak tree she was sitting against.
Somehow, I don't know how, I convinced her to go cloud watching with me.
She was reluctant to go at first, but now, she's sitting against a big Oak tree with closed eyes and a contented expression on her usually hard face.
I'm laying down with my head on her lap, and my right hand's fingers entangled with her left hand's fingers.
Taking one last look at her beautiful face, I close my eyes.
Just for a while. A small nap...
"I love you, Temari..." I mumble, half asleep.
I'm too tired to worry about what she'll say, but just before I become fully engulfed by the calming darkness, I think I hear her say, "I love you too, Shikamaru."
I don't give it any further thought, because, even if she didn't say it back, I'm sure she feels the same way as I do.
