Hogwarts Song: Year 1901

You may not think I'm pretty

But don't judge a book by its cover

For each of my decisions lead

From one thing to another

Those who are chivalrous and brave

Fighting with sword or wand or knave

Battling from the hills to shores

I send ye to the house of Gryffindor

Ye who are always faithful and loyal

Those unafraid of their fears and toil

Thee who don't pout and huff

Thou belong in house of Hufflepuff

Thy powers of thinking with logic and mind

From glen, and never left behind

Those so keen to learning more

I send to house of Ravenclaw

Art thou ambitious with creativity?

Show thy cleverness of this to me

I'll see the wits that lie within

And place ye in house of Slytherin

Each passing year, the school changes

From the founders' wonderous time

In this school, you'll have a thunderous time

The passing days, your life will differ

But that's the fun that lies therein

Let the sorting now begin!
