The sun had just risen on Sherwood. Djaq walked up to Much who was on guard duty.
"Much, I'm going to bathe" she said
Much just nodded sleepily
What Djaq didn't know was that Will had already left the camp to go for a swim.
Djaq arrived at the lake and dived straight in, she didn't notice the half dressed male body at the other end.
Djaq swam towards the middle but so did Will. They were both swimming backwards. The crashed into each other, they turned, Djaq was so surprised she swallowed a mouth full of water, Will's strong arms kept her above the water while she coughed.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?" Djaq asked angrily "I told Much to tell everyone where I was"
"I came down here before the sun rose, I needed to think" Will said.
Just then Djaq realized that Will was only wearing pants, she blushed.
Will laughed.
"You're beautiful" he said quietly
Djaq looked up into his face "I love you" she whispered.
Before they knew it Will's mouth was on hers kissing her softly yet the kiss conveyed all his feelings.
"We better get back" Djaq said sadly
10 minutes later they walked back into camp hand in hand.
Robin who was on guard duty raised an eyebrow and winked.
They sat down together Will's arm wrapped gently around Djaq's waist and as they kiss.
John smiled and says "finally"
