Hey guys! So, I've been readin a lot of Mark of Athena fanfics, and all of them already started on the seven demi gods quest, which is the second great prophecy.
I think Rick Riordan would wait til the last book to actually follow the great prophecy. A lot of the other fanfics also have completely ignored the Mark of Athena prophecy.
"Wisdom's daughter walks alone, the mark of Athena burns through Rome."
So I thought, I would try to make my own version. This is my first fanfic by the way just to bring that out there, so if this isn't really that good, I apologize xD Oh, and i also do apologize for the short length of it, if i get reviews, i probably will make my chapters longer, so please review. :D
Rick Riordan owns Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Heroes of Olympus.
Chapter 1
ANNABETH
"Shoot them from the sky", was what she heard come out from a skinny blonde boy.
Annabeth has not been herself the past few months, but even she knew that she had to keep her mouth shut and just ignore what she heard. After all, cussing at a boy in his hometown while descending from a huge metal ship from the sky was not the best way to say "Hey Romans! We just want peace". So she just sat still.
Annabeth took a glance at Jason. Jason's face looked excited and worried at the same time. What Jason was wearing was a whole nother story. He was wrapped in what seemed to look like a purple toga. Why? Annabeth had no idea.
"Attention crew, this is your captain Leo speaking. We are about to land on camp Rome in a few minutes. Thank you for flying-"
"Oh shut up Repair Boy!", As Piper whispered jokingly to Rachel.
After the announcement by Captain Repair Boy, the other campers had piled themselves into the ships main deck. Will Solace, Katie Gardner, The Stoll Brothers, Butch and Pollux.
Annabeth walked out to the window only to be shocked by what she saw. No matter how magically Jason described this camp, it could never compete with seeing it in person.
As she scanned the horizon, Annabeth could see kids in purple shirts, which probably explained why Jason was wearing a purple toga.
All the campers stood there in awe of Leo's masterpiece, the Argo II, well, except for one-that skinny blonde boy who wanted to shoot them out of the sky. Annabeth didn't like him.
As the Argo II landed, the huge door began to descend and Annabeth's mind thought of a million things all at once. What if Percy wasn't down there? What if they did this all for nothing. Stop it! She wouldn't let her conscience get the best of her. He had to be there. He had to be there. Percy had to be there.
