Umm...Vampire Cupcakes! This is just the beginning of a really randomly weird idea...

'So biting people is the only way to turn a human into a vampire, huh?' I asked only half interested in the answer. I sort of thought I knew what the answer would already be.
'Yes, of course!' he replied in his soft velvet voice.
'Oh…'
A long awkward silence filled the living room. The only sounds heard were coming from the television in front of us. We were sitting on the couch watching a romance about two people who lived on opposite sides of the world.
'Well, there is apparently one other way…' he said after a while.
'...what was that?' I asked quietly, too engrossed in the movie.
'To your question before,' he answered, 'there is one other way that a human can be transformed into a vampire without the need of biting, supposedly that is.'
I turned swiftly in my seat to face him. I couldn't fully understand what he meant.
'You're kidding me right?'
'No, I'm quite serious.'
He seemed amused with my reaction. 'Well, it is quite a ludicrous little exception. One of the very last things one would think of.'
By then I was really eager to know and was becoming impatient.
'Well then? What is it?' I asked.
'Well, it's a…cupcake.'
I was shocked at his answer. A cupcake. Was this a joke?
'Although not just any cupcake,' he added, 'it must be a tainted cupcake, corrupted of course by a vampire. The venom must be in the cupcake somehow for the transformation to occur.' He said matter-of-factly.
I was still stunned but forced my mouth to talk.
'A cupcake?' I asked, still stunned.
'Yes.'
'B-but why? I mean how? A cupcake?'
'Yes, my love, a cupcake. I don't exactly know why it happens –you have to ask Carlisle- but I do know that the actual painful transformation is still present. Well, that is what he told me. I myself do find it quite hard to believe, but still, it may be possible.' His expression suddenly became inquisitive.
'Who told you this exactly? I asked, still convinced it was a lie.
'Well, it isn't particularly a reliable source…Emmett told me.'
It was true, Emmett wasn't exactly the most reliable source, but I was still very curious. I got up and started making my way to the front door.
'Where are you going?' he asked from behind.
'I'm going to Thriftway…and then to your house.'
He was suddenly in front of me, his hands on my shoulders, holding me in place. 'And why is that, may I ask? Do you really feel the need to go grocery shopping at this time?'
'No, not grocery shopping. I'm going to see if the rumour's true.' I answered pushing him aside and walking out the door.
'You coming?' I asked.
He followed obediently and was at the car in less than a second, a curious yet amused expression on his face.
Well...that's it, Please review! I'm still not sure if this one should continue...i have no idea what to right next if i do.
