Jack Frost P.O.V
It was Christmas Eve. And I had a big job to do. My job this year was to make it snow so that on Christmas it was a winter wonderland. I started in Jamie's najborhood and then began traveling north. So I came to Scotland. This was the farthest I've ever been from home. I started on a small tree and made my way through the valley. When I was done I turned to see one tree losing its cold winter frost. I watch in awe as the small amount of leaves that had not fallen off, began turning back to bright shades of reds and oranges. I walked over suspiciously and started all over again, making sure each leave was touched.
What a strange tree….
If I had given any attention to why the tree had changed I might have seen a small girl skitter away hiding herself behind the now snow covered bush.
The girl's P.O.V
I watched from my hiding spot in the tree as a boy come and I watched him touch each tree truck with a strange staff he carried, his touch spread some cold ice along the wood. I watched fascinated as the ice formed patterns and as it crawled, and then to my horror, it robbed my leaves of their color and cased some that had hung on to fall off.
This boy was an enemy. I tried to turn them back, but my power was not as strong as his. I had to go leaf by leaf. HE noticed, and began to make his way over. I couldn't have him see me! He was proubaley mad I had ruined his work…but he was the trespassing on Scottish land and ruining MY colors I reasoned with myself. I quickly scampered down the trunk and hid in a bush beside the road. I watched as he stood puzzled before turning my leaves back to dead, cold, iced leather.
I watched in fascination once again, I seemed to be drawn toward him, even though I tried to despise him. Then he left. He simply flew into the hair as if he were leaping over the valley. I lay in the bushes until I fell asleep and for once in my life I dreamed about something other than a rebellious, red headed, princess. Instead they were full of the white haired boy as he danced his way through making everything cold and frozen…
