It was dark. The air filled with a thousand stars. The wind went through the grass with nearly no sound. In the large area were a few hills. At one of the hills was standing a lone figure. She stared at the dark sky.

Inside her head was a mess. She wished she could just erase all the memories she had.

Jade looked at the sky and remembered her biggest mistake she ever made.

::FLASHBACK::

Janine looked at her sis with a saddened look on her face.

So.. You're really going to leave aren't you?

Jade looked at her younger sister with an emotionless face. She cleared her throat an said: I'm sorry sis, but things must be done. I'm leaving you with grandma. She's going to take good care of you.

Janine looked at her older sister with tears welling up in her eyes and said: I don't want to be left alone with her.

You know she doesn't have long to live anymore either!! You promised mom!! You did! You should take care of me after mom died! She was curling up into a little ball with tears now streaming down her face.

Jade still showed no emotion and said: I'm sorry sis, but this is necessary.

She touched a similar place in Janine's neck. And saw her little sister fall in front of her. Unconscious

The next day Jade packed all her stuff together and turned her back at the house she had lived her whole life.

Janine's eyes shot open as she woke up from her nightmare. Sweat dropped from her forehead as she tried to remember what happened.

Her eyes shot further open and she shouted : SIS !! WHERE ARE YOU!

As panic welled up inside her chest she ran down the stairs. She ran outside and saw her sis walking away from their home.

She shouted : SIS PLEASE WAIT FOR ME! She wanted to ran to her sis but she was grabbed by her aunt. With tears streaming down her face she watched her sis walking away before vanishing into the horizon.

::FLASHBACK END::

Jade recalled that she woke up that morning and was told that her little sister was killed in a car accident.

She had abandoned her little sister.

She thought it was all her fault for being so reckless and leaving her sister alone.

She looked up at the sky and tears began streaming down her face. She had failed.
