Being Queen can be a bit boring plus everyone treat her differently now. Needing to talk she talks to Merlin who cheers her up.
Blue days
Sometime Gwen missed being a servant. Talking to the cooks and maids and other servants. Able to walk thought town without a guard. Being able to do her own washing and cleaning. They seem no much she could do.
Ever since she become queen almost everyone has treated her differently.
And sometimes all those things had her feel a bit down.
This was one of those days. Gwen walked around the castle she smile polite as savants move out of her way and bow as she passed – Once she was one of them, able to speck to them and work together – that has all changed.
Sometimes she wanted someone that wasn't Arthur or Elyan too talk too. Then Gwen saw Merlin walking not the corridor no doubt doing some job of someone. Merlin always made Gwen feeling better.
Merlin looked at Gwen "Hey Gwen, are you alright you seem a little down"
Gwen smiled, Merlin noticed people and they moods. "I missed being a servant"
"You do?" asked Merlin "You must of forgotten about all those early mornings, late nights, washing cleaning, cleaning washing. Getting hit on the head by flying flying goblets"
Gwen smiled feeling better all ready "Well half of the time it's your fault you do wind Arthur up"
Merlin grinned "Are you sure your okay. If you want a chat I always here"
"You know what Merlin" said Gwen "I would love a chat. I hardly get to talk to you anymore"
"Well here I am" said Merlin "Just don't let Arthur murder me for not doing my job"
Gwen laughed "I'll explain to him so you won't get sent to the stocks"
Gwen and Merlin walked back too the chamber and sat down at the table "So" Said Gwen "What's the gossip with the servants?"
Merlin raised the eyebrow "You know I don't listen to the gossip"
"You must got something" said Gwen almost begging
Merlin thought "George told a joke that wasn't about brass the other day"
"Really" said Gwen "What was it about?"
"Copper" said Merlin matter of flatly
Gwen laughter "You're joking, you must be joking"
Merlin had a innocent look on his face "Me joking never" He and Gwen shared a look and started laughing all over again "Yeh I'm joking it's about steal"
"And had Peter wife had the baby yet?" asked Gwen
Merlin nodded "Last week, they had a Girl named Poppy"
"Is the begs still going on?" asked Gwen
"Yeh" said Merlin "This week one is which knight can fall over the most after a night in the travel"
"That'll be Gwaine" said Gwen
Merlin shook his head "You have never seen Percival drunk it's the funnies thing ever"
Gwen smiled "I taken your word for it"
Just then the door brushed open and Arthur come in "MERLIN THERE YOU ARE. I ONLY SENT YOU TO GET MY LUNCH AND DO I GET IT NO..."
"It's my fault Arthur" said Gwen "I was the one who started it. Don't blame Merlin"Arthur looked at Gwen
"Merlin much out the stables" said Arthur
"Sure thing sire" said Merlin walking out of the door "whatever you say your prat"
"MERLIN" yelled Arthur as Merlin race off "I swear one of these days I will kill him." Arthur lookrf at Gwen "And you alright?"
"I'm good" said Gwen "I'm feel really good"
