Sophie: Stella doesn't own Rise of the Guardians!
Me: Heh, If I did part 2 would be out already, but I'd probably mess it up... Anyway Soph, you should be getting to bed or I'll get Sandy!
Sophie: Fine!
Sophie's POV
I woke up in the middle of the night because of a weird sound. It seemed to come from under my bed. I was scared so I went to Jamie like I always did when I was afraid. I tiptoed through the hall, trying not to wake mom. You'd think a 10-year-old wouldn't be scared from something under her bed, but I thought of an adventure Jamie and I had 6 years ago. Jamie was the olny one who'd take my gears seriously, the only one who would understand. Her mom would say it wasn't real, that it was 'just a dream'. Her friends would laugh at her. They all stopped believing very early. Jamie was her only option. Despite being 16 already he still believed. I stood in front of his door. Slowly I opened it. I don't know why I was trying to be silent since I was just going to wake him up anyway, but still I walked almost soundlessly to his bed. I shook his shoulder.
"Jamie, Jamie," But he didn't wake up. "Jamie, Jamie!"
"JAMIE!" I suddenly yelled. His eyes shot open. "What, who...? Oh, Sophie," He frowned. "What's wrong? You're shaking." "There's something under my bed." I replied, looking at my feet. " I was scared." "Let's go take a look then." Jamie got up and grabbed a flashlight. We went to my room and he shone the light under my bed. I held my breath. Suddenly Jamie laughed. He reached under my bed and I heard something hissing. He pulled his arm back and then I saw it. A cat. It was really cute with brown stripes and green eyes. Jamie put the cat on the ground and it walked away very unamused. "Sorry I woke you up." "It's okay, I understand why you were scared. After all, it could have been a nightmare just as easily." Jamie smiled at me. I climbed in my bed and said goodnight. He left my room.
"At least I can always count on my brother to save the day."
