Sooo, this is what I do in my spare time when I SHOULD be studying for tests. It's not my fault! If they would put out episode 8 already I wouldn't think about it so much! Ha-ha, anyways, enjoy!
There's a time.
The team stared in the direction of the Zeta tube as it announced Nightwing's arrival. When he stepped out he looked around at his teary-eyed team. For them, the mission today had not gone according to plan. They all think that their teammate and friend, Artemis, was killed by their former teammate, Kalder, who betrayed the team months before. But for Nightwing, tonight would have gone perfect if it weren't for another one of their team members, Lagoon Boy, getting captured. That kid just didn't know when to leave it alone.
Nightwing had just come back from sending the not-so-dead Artemis onto Kalder's father's underwater fortress. When it was found out that Kalder's biological father was Black Manta, a major enemy to the Justice League, Wally (formerly Kid Flash), Nightwing, and Kalder (who was still Aqua Lad), formed a plan to get more information from Black Mantas fortress using Kalder as a mole like the Light used Red Arrow five years ago. Now they have gotten Artemis in on it too, and are sending her on board too help get more info on what's going on between Black Manta and The Light.
Nightwing looked around at his team, no his family, again and his heart broke. Everyone was either crying or trying to hold back the tears. He knew it would be long before they started to ask questions about how Wally handled the news of his girlfriends "death."
"How did it go?" asked a familiar voice from behind him. He turned around to see the normally cheery red head, with puffy red eyes from crying. When he looked at her he almost burst into tears, and he knew all of what happened was fake!
"He was okay when I left, but it will probably hit him in the morning." He wasn't totally lying here. Wally was okay and when he realizes he just sent his girlfriend into enemy territory he's going to get pretty upset.
"Yeah," she said, "I just wish…" and she paused. "I… we should have… "And then she burst into tears. Nightwing wrapped his best friend in a hug and let her cry her eyes out. He looked around the room once more and saw that most of the team has started to cry again once they saw the tough batgirl sobbing. He wanted so desperately to tell them the truth. That it was all a lie and that Artemis was alive and Kalder never betrayed them. But he of all people knew that there was a time to lie and a time to cry. There's a time for being you, and to act like somebody else. There's a time to be tough and a time for fun. And even for a superhero you can only be tough for so long until you crack under pressure. So right now he will let his team mourn, but tomorrow he knows they're going to fight harder because now they have someone to fight for.

P.S:) i read this in class for open mic friday and most of them liked it. some had NO idea what i was talking about. it was really funny.
