Cheese Carver
My first Serena/Dan fafic, so be gentle. And I'm referring to the book as well(just a little bit). I got this inspiration from the last episode of Season 2, where Blair tells Serena that Serena was GG's first blast.
Goddess.
He remembered the first time he saw her. He was fourteen, and was being transferred from a normal Brooklyn public school to the elite St. Judes, where boys had already took a hit from a bong, touched a girl's ass, and blackmailed a teacher into giving them a good grade.
During lunchtime, they served him Caesar's salad and Moroccan lamb, not the normal nachos and cheese combo. The boys were different from scruffy Dan, with one out of four boys in a modeling agency, or a mother who was an heiress. They looked at Dan like they would any outsider-a freak, a common lowlife, contaminating the halls with The Gap clothes and homemade anything.
"Watch it, moron!"
Dan staggered back a few steps, the result of being pushed hard in the shoulder.
The boy sniggered, and walked a few feet from him until all the cell phones around him beeped. One by one, all the boys flipped their cells open, and their jaws dropped.
Dan looked around, confused. What were they all looking at?
"Damn, Serena!"
"What are you doing to us?!"
"Thank the Lord above…"
Slowly, they put their cells back in their pockets, and walked away, slightly dazed.
Dan sighed gruffly, running a hand through his scruffy hair. "Okay…"
-
"Dan!"
Dan opened his eyes, not realizing that he had just dozed off while trying to read Ali and Nino. He saw the head of a young, energetic blonde girl, ambling towards him like an excited puppy. An excited puppy with a laptop held precariously in her hand.
"Woah, careful, do not drop," Dan chastised, wherein Jenny, his sister, rolled her eyes, and set the used laptop gently down on Dan's rocket ship bedspread.
There she was.
Goddess.
It was one of those summer storms, where the lightning would flash, thunder would roar, and rain won't stop. She was wearing a white summer dress, with frills along the neckline and hem. It reached up until her knees, and was sticking to her skin. The helicopter was blowing Serena's soaked but strangely not matted hair around, making her look like…a goddess. One of those that you immortalize in a museum by carving it out on marble. Maybe he could do it with cheese. His uncle was a three time champion cheese carver. Her arms were held delicately around her waist, her long legs tanned and toned-no doubt coming back from St. Barlos or another island.
"…Wow."
Jenny looked knowingly. "Yeah. It's from Gossip Girl. She sent it to absolutely everyone. At first, I thought it was spam. But, I guess she's pretty popular now."
Dan did not look away, instead resembled a goldfish, his eyes round and mouth forming a big O. "Are there anymore posts?"
Jenny shook her blonde head. "Seems like it's her first one. Sigh," She fell down on Dan's bed, clutching her size AA chest. "I want to be just like her."
Jenny was prone to be obsessed about one particular thing for a short period of time, such as Teletubbies, where she was four, Barbie dolls when she was eight, and now The OC, which Jenny watches every day.
"She's…"
Jenny, again, nodded knowingly. "Yeah. I know her bra size. 36B. That's like…" Jenny peered down at her chest. "the perfect size!"
Jenny sprinted off the bed, forgetting the laptop as she hurried to get the popcorn out of the microwave.
Dan pulled it closer. She was certainly something.
Goddess.
A goddess, apparently, that does not know he exists. Like, at all. Dan will just have to wait until he becomes a famous cheese carver.
A/N~ It sucked, didn't it? Yeah, it's short. Whatevs. Review...please?
