This is my own twist on when when Katara steals the waterbending scroll from the pirates and Zuko helps them find the group.

Chapter 1
Katara got up in the middle of the night to practice that one move from the scroll. She screamed in frustration. All the sudden the pirates started surrounding her. She looked back as she was running from them and ran into someone familiar. Zuko. He grabbed her waist and pulled her in close to him. So close that Katara was scared and excited at the same time. She never noticed how handsome he was. "Don't worry," he said "I'll save you from the pirates." It was like she was under a spell. He had her captive, but not just physically. Emotionally too. There was just something about him. He was so bad but she was so attracted to him. He brought her to a tree and tied her up. She was too weak from the sensation she got when he said that to her. "Leave us." he said to the pirates. "But what about the scroll?" "I said leave us!" The pirates left. Zuko circled Katara. "I need you to tell me something." He said calmly. "That depends on what it is." She said. He got close to her. She started getting weaker and weaker the more he talked. "Where is the Avatar." It didn't sound like a question more like a demand. He was so powerful she couldn't stand it. "I can't tell you that." she said. "You cant?" He didn't sound desperate at all. He questioned her in more of a sarcastic way. "No I can't. Why would I tell you?" "Because. I have you captive, I control you." It was like he knew how she felt about him. If he tried hard enough she could get her to tell him anything. Zuko looked into her Icy eyes. He had started to feel attracted to her. He had always found her attractive but now she was stunning. Her hair was slightly blowing in the breeze. Her eyes piercing him like daggers. "I'm still not saying anything about where they are." He looked straight at her his golden eyes made it hard to concentrate. He got a little closer to her. Then did something she never expected. He kissed her. Both of them were surprised. He couldn't resist. She was just so beautiful. After he stopped She stared at him with a surprised look on her face. "Now will you tell me?" "Fine but first..." She kissed him this time and he kissed her back. They stopped and looked at each other for a while admiring each other. Then Zuko backed up and untied her. "Why are you untying me?" He didn't say anything. Then he came back around and stood face to face with her. "Because I have you captive." He pulled her close to him so they were hugging. "Go back to the Avatar. I'll tell the pirates that you got away." "But.." "Go. I'll see you soon. I am hunting the Avatar after all." She looked at him mystified. She walked away.
