As the clock ticked to 6:45 the radio blared out "Carry on my Wayward Son" by Kansas, Dean shot up into a vertical position. "Really, Sam? We have to wake up to that every day?" he groaned through a yawn, "Of course, Dean, a prog classic, according to you, either this or "Heat of the Moment"" replied Sam with a sarcastic smile, "Come on, we've got a big day up ahead" stated Dean as he rose out of bed, slapping Sam on the leg and throwing down Sam's coat onto the bed. "Ah-ah, you've got a big day ahead, I'm staying here" replied Sam with a smile, "Oh, dude, come on, I've been waiting for this for like a year" said Dean in a childlike strop. "Look, Dean, I'm not going down to a movie store to meet some washed up TV star just to get an autograph and picture" declared Sam, "Sammy, do NOT speak ill of legends, c'mon man, this is gonna be great", Sam seemed to mull it over in his head before keeping to his word and stating "no" for the final time. Dean shook his head in dismay and walked out the door in a bad mood.

Dean's bad mood quickly disappeared when he pulled up to the Cinema Arts store in Bay City, MI. He beamed at a poster outside depicting TV star Paul Michael Glaser sitting on the famous 1975 Ford Gran Torino he drove in the TV show Starsky & Hutch. Most importantly Glaser or "Starsky" was signing autographs at the store today, and Dean, of course, was keen to meet his idol. Dean skipped (not in a girly way) into the store and stood in a queue of 6-7 people awaiting the arrival of the one and only Starsky. To a small applause Glaser walked out from the back room and took his seat at a desk placed at the front of the store, the desk was lined with posters of his Starsky character, the Torino car, and his partner Ken "Hutch" Hutchinson.

When Dean's turn came he turned into a shadow of himself, more like a little boy meeting Superman, he approached the desk and shook hands with "Starsky" who smiled and kindly autographed Dean's copy of the Starsky & Hutch season 1 DVD before handing it back to Dean and posing for photograph. "Hey, Mr. Glaser, I just want to say I'm a huge, huge fan, and er, you were basically my childhood". Paul stood up and thanked Dean before returning to the back room. As Dean turned around he noticed a cut-out of Starsky near the shop window, as Dean gazed into the cut-out he noticed they were virtually mirror images of each other, with the exception of Starsky's curly locks. Dean collected his photograph from the lady behind the counter, got in his car and drove back to the motel.

Dean sort of fell through the door with excitement and stumbled down onto the bed. "Check this out" he said to Sam showing his photo of him and Starsky, "Wow, cool, you know, what would have been cooler?" replied Sam "If Hutch was there" beamed Dean. "No, you idiot, if we hadn't come to this hell hole and actually went out for a hunt" snapped Sam, Dean sarcastically laughed and said "you're just upset cause you didn't get to meet Wonder Woman when we were in Wisconsin". Sam gave Dean a snide look and walked out of the door and down to the drinks machine. Dean found a frame for his picture, sat on his bed and loaded the Starsky & Hutch DVD, he relaxed back and enjoyed the classic show.

When Sam returned Dean was fast asleep on the bed, Starsky & Hutch still playing in the background. Sam shook his head and couldn't help but crack a smile, then got into bed himself and drifted into slumber.
