This flashback chapter is meant to be read AFTER chapter 4 of the Unova Series of my stories

Mt Silver Peak, Johto Region. Time: 5 PM

It was raining hard, raindrops pouring down from the sky. I glanced around, but had almost zero visibility in the gushing torrent. "I can't see a thing!" I said.

A Pokemon, with blueish fur, a purple mane, and a crystal on his head turned towards me. "The weather just keeps on getting worse. I think it'll be a windy thunderstorm soon." He said to me.

"Great." I muttered. "Suicune, do you think you can take me down Mt Silver?"

"Of course." Suicune answered. "Once this storm clears up, I'll give you a ride down. For now, let's find some shelter."

I glanced around, finally reaching into my pack and pulling out a flashlight. However, the battery was almost dead, and only provided a weak light beam. The wind picked up, and on top of the mountain, the wind was gusting hard. Suicune glanced up at the sky, and tried to control the winds, but he found it too hard to do so.

"We better get to shelter really soon. Lightning will strike the highest object in the area. That's us." I said to Suicune. As I spoke, there was a rumble of thunder and a flash of lightning off in the distance. But the lightning flash illuminated the mountain peak long enough for me to see the cave's entrance off in the distance, just a few hundred feet away.

"There!" Suicune said, pointing with one of the two strange tentacle-like feelers on his body. We ran towards the cave. I heard another rumble and assumed it was thunder. Wrong. Suicune shouted, "Bill! Look out!" I turned to see a giant boulder rolling down a slope towards me. I froze, and a blue streak raced in front of me, pushing me out of the way. The boulder fell with a sickening crunch.

"Suicune!" I ran over to the boulder. He was trapped halfway under, and I saw dark fluid seeping out from under the giant rock. "Don't worry, I'll get this off of you!" I pulled out a Ultra Ball. "Tyranitar! Please help me!"

Tyranitar popped out, and saw the trouble. "Oh my gosh!" She said. "What happened?"

"Never mind that!" I answered. "Use Strength!"

Tyranitar used Strength, and picked up the boulder, throwing it a distance. I got closer to Suicune. He was barely breathing. I closed my eyes and focused on channeling my energy into Suicune. I tried my best, I really did, but I felt Suicune's aura fading.

"Leave…me…" Suicune murmured, focusing his eyes on me. "The lightning…is getting… closer... Please, Bill, be safe …"

"I'm not leaving you here like this!" I said. "Suicune, we've been through so much! I won't leave you!"

Suicune laid his head back and closed his eyes. "Always… always the stubborn one…." He said, with a light smile on his face. "But Bill, I only… did that to repay my debt to you… and so you could survive. If you die now, then… this will have no purpose. Please, Bill, get to safety."

I broke into tears. "Ok." I finally said. "Ok."
