Who knew you could fall in love with your stepbrother? Wasn't that incest … Casey was snapped out of her thoughts. She looked around and there was Derek hurrying to get ready for school. She was already to go she was looking at Derek wondering how she could fall in love with him? He turned and was looking at her now she stared him down and said 'What are you looking at?' Of course being Derek smirked and said 'Nothing why are you all dressed up?' she looked down she was wearing a light blue tank top with a white cropped jacket over it and a light pair of jeans with cute black boots. She then looked back at Derek and said 'I wanted to impress someone' then thought ya I hope you like it she smiled. When she looked at Derek he said 'Who would like that' he smirked and he was thinking 'No guy better even look at her'. She frowned then said 'let's just go' they left the house and were now on their way to school. I would glance at him a couple times and think 'Wow he's cute and wow I'm hopeless'. They arrived at school both getting out. I went to my locker and Emily was there. 'Hey Em' I said and she smiled 'Hey Casey did you tell Derek yet?' I looked at my friend and sighed 'I cant he wont like me' I said then Emily said 'Yes he will you just need to tell him soon' I said 'Yeah your right Emily I will soon I have to go' then I was walking to my class when I bumped into max my recent ex-boyfriend. 'Oh I'm so sorry max I was hurrying and wasn't paying attention' I said he smiles and says 'Its ok Casey' I smile back and say 'Oh well I got to go to class' he said 'Ya I do too bye' I say 'Bye' and hurry to class. Derek looks to see who is late for class and is shocked to see that the person late is Casey. He thinks 'I wonder why she's late, she's never late to class' Casey apologizes and takes her seat next to Emily. Emily passes her a note "why are you late: Emily" Casey looked at the note and replied "I bumped into max: Casey" and passed it back to Emily. Emily looked at the note and then wrote "Oh what he did want: Emily", Casey read the note and replied "Nothing we didn't really talk: Casey". Emily quickly put the note away and saw that the teacher was looking at her. Me and Emily looked at each other and giggled. I then noticed Derek was looking at me I blushed and quickly looked down. 'I wonder why he was looking at me' I thought and just then the bell rang. "The day went by pretty quickly even though all I could think about was Derek" Casey thought. She sighed and headed to the car when she got there she saw Derek waiting listening to his mix cd right now the song was another heart calls by All American rejects. I get in and Derek looks at me I think 'Wow he looks so cute' then he asks 'Why were you late to class?' I immediately think 'Wow he noticed yay' I smile and say 'I bumped into max' I cringe slightly Derek hates max. Then Derek says 'Oh' I quickly say 'He didn't want anything we just bumped into each other and I had to hurry to class anyway' I ended real quickly. I look over at Derek and he just nodded it becomes silent now were just listening to the music. I didn't even realize we got home so fast because when I looked up we were in the driveway. Derek and I got out and headed into the house. I ran up to my room and put some music on, started on my homework. Then I noticed that Derek was leaning against my door frame. I said 'What do you want Derek?' he smirked and said 'So did you get to impress that guy?' I smiled thinking 'did I impress him' but I just said 'Ya I think I did'. Derek then came closer to me my breath caught in my throat he said 'Oh really' I wonder if he knew the affect he had on me. I try to play it cool and say 'Ya' Derek's face is inches from mine there's an electric current going through me and all to soon Derek turned and left. I sigh and think ' Wow we could have kissed'.
