This is kind of short but it was just a little oneshot that came to mind while I was watching the movie one night. I hope you enjoy it!

"Hi, I'm so happy you made it safely." Mrs. Bennett greeted as more family came through the door.

"Jack Frost is really working hard tonight isn't he?" Uncle Josh joked as he took his jacket off. Jamie chuckled a little. If only they knew.

"Jamie, why don't you take Alice upstairs to Sophie's room so they can play?" Mrs. Bennett suggested. Jamie got up and took his little cousin's hand and led her up the stairs. None of the cousins his age were there yet. All the ones the same age as Sophie were there now.

"Alice!" Sophie exclaimed, getting up to hug her favorite cousin. Alice and Sophie didn't see each other much but they were the closest of all the cousins. Jamie watched the girls go back over to where the rest of the little cousins were playing. He shut the door and went to his own room. He shut the door and went over to the window to open it. He stuck his head out and looked around but still didn't see any sign of the person he was looking for. Jack hadn't been around much the last few days and Jamie wasn't sure why. He did hear on the news that there was some freak snow storm somewhere out west and figured Jack was traveling around and making the holiday more festive for others.

"You're gonna catch a cold." He heard the familiar voice say. He turned around to see Jack leaning against the door way with one hand on the knob.

"How did you get in?" Jamie asked. Jack walked into the room, shutting the door back.

"Front door a few minutes ago. By the way, Grandma Nelly is here." Jack said, picking up a little squishy ball that was laying on Jamie's desk.

"She's a cheek pincher." Jamie said, making Jack laugh. "I didn't think I would get to see you."

"You really think I would skip Christmas?" Jack asked, sitting down on Jamie's bed. Jamie walked over and sat with him, crossing his legs. "You've got a really big family." Jack commented.

"Yeah, sometimes I think it's too big." Jamie said, scrunching his face up. Jack stared down at the bed and chuckled a little.

"You're blessed, Jamie." He said, finally looking up. Jamie felt a little bad now.

"I know," was all he said. "Oh! I almost forgot!" Jamie got up off the bed and hurried to his closet. Jack turned around to watch him. Jamie returned with a small box wrapped in light blue Christmas paper. He handed the gift to Jack who stared at him shocked.

"You... You got me a gift?" He asked and Jamie nodded with a smile.

"Open it!" Jamie said excitedly. Jack smiled and began to open the gift. Inside was a box sealed with tape. He pulled the tape off and opened the box. He stared down at what was inside the box. It was a silver necklace with a snowflake charm that had a black J carved into the center. There were white gems on each of the ends of the snowflake. Jack took it out of the box and smiled at Jamie. "I didn't know what to get you." Jamie admitted. Jack smiled and slipped the chain over his head.

"This is great. Thank you, Jamie." Jack said, staring down at the charm. He couldn't remember the last time he got a gift from someone.

"Jamie! Come here, please!" Mrs. Bennett called from downstairs. Jamie looked back at Jack.

"Merry Christmas, Jack," he said.

"Merry Christmas, Jamie," Jack said back while Jamie walked out. Jack sat there and stared at the charm. It made him feel like he really was important to kids. It was so great to be a guardian.

So I hope you liked it. Let me know what you think. It might not be the best, but I'm trying to get back into writing and I have to find my flow again. I gave up on writing for a little while after being really discouraged by others. But with a new account and a fresh outlook on my talents, I'm going to try to get back to writing. :)
