Carmerethiel: Thank you /soooo/ much for your compliment. sarcasm Truth be told, I don't care about spelling on this one. Or grammar. Or anything else. It was supposed to be a five minute little thing for my friend. I wasn't even expecting to post it anywhere, so why would I need a beta reader? (And I highly doubt you could do better in sevenparagraphs.) So, bleh!
escptheshdw835: No, it doesn't sound too corny. And my (other) friend had the same problem when she read it and had to ask me about it. lol
LustAintLove: Glad you liked it. I'll probably write others like this as well, just because I can and nothing shall stop me! dun dun duh!
OKay, I'm done doing mixed emotions now, but I swear, if one person asks me to continue on with this story I'm going to get my all seeing spoon of distruction on you peeps!
One Thing

Disclaimer: I do/did not own/create Harry, Draco, or McGonnigal. I simply created a story using them. Anyone who steals the idea will be perminatly blinded with my all seeing spoon of distruction.
Dedicated to the all powerful Seta who told me not to, and to my mind for supressing out all dirtiness.
Christmas break was the absolute worst time for Harry. Not only were all his friends gone, but he hand detention with Malfoy over the entire of week. They had to reshelve all the books in the library, muggle style. Which translated into; Harry had to reshelve the books while Malfoy lied and absorbed the credit for it.
"Malfoy, I swear, if you say one thing to me I'll break your jaw." Harry threatened, glaring at the smirking blond. He had managed to growl it right before Draco said anything and McGonnigal walked in, leading them to their first section of the day.
Much to Harry's surprise, Draco worked dilligantly to sort out the books, as Harry put them back on the shelves. By the time lunch time came, they had completed a lot. Parting for the free hour they had, they met back together in the library at one. They wokred until the sun went down, around sixish, and McGonnigal came to tell them they could leave for the day.
As harry reached down to pick up his bag, he froze when two hands settled delicatly on his hips.
"One thing" A smooth voice hissed lightly into his ear, sending shivers racing up Harry's spine.
He spun around, but the slytherin had already moved away and started walking out of the library. He could only stand there stunned for a couple minutes before heading back to the gryffindor common room.
Over the rest of christmas break, neither one spoke to the other. They finished their task early and got the rest of break off to finish their homework. Neither mentioned the incident to anyone, but Harry was almost certain that when Draco passed him in the hall, he whispered 'one thing' just loud enough for the young gryffindor to hear.
The End!
