1. Chapter 1

I DON'T OWN FRUITS BASKET (If I did Tohru would be someone else and so would Machi)

Kyo POV

I looked down at the blue watch I was holding. It used to be Tohru's before…the incident. Akito didn't like the fact of Tohru with me, and Machi with Yuki. He killed them. Without our knowing until the next day. Believe it or not but they've been dead for over a year. Since then a girl named Kairri moved in about a year ago too. Maybe a month after. I remember what I said to her. "THIS IS ONLY GOING TO END UP LIKE LAST TIME! AND WHAT ARE WE? A SHELTER FOR THE HOMELESS!" Every word was true.

Kairri POV

"Hey Kyo! I made your favorite fish for dinner!" I said as Kyo walked down the stairs. Every week I would look at the weather. On the best days and worst days I would make Kyo's favorite food. Cod. I never ever made leeks. Ugh, who could like em'? "I'm not hungry." He replied. He must be in his bad mood because of Tohru. Then he walked out the door. We ate dinner then I warmed up Kyo's. Maybe he's hungry now?

I climbed up to the roof. I've learned that's usually where he is. And sure enough I saw Kyo. I slid his food up, and then went to the lower part of the roof. (Like climb latter. Walk on roof. Climb latter. Put down food. Climb down latter. Sit) I was sitting right in front of the ladder when something hit my head. I looked up to see cod and rice on top of me. I climbed up the latter and stood in front of Kyo. "What do you just think your doing? Throwing your food on to girls from the top of a roof?" I said teasingly.(PS Kairri doesn't know about the curse which is not broken) He got up and brushed pass me knocking me off the roof. I saw him jump from the top to the ground was that possible? Well anyway good-bye world! I braced myself for impact. It wasn't nearly as hard as I thought dying would be. It was more like you were caught but then dropped. I opened my eyes. I was alive?
