I sighed happily, my breath making a small cloud, squeezing his cold hand tighter as we walked. He smiled, his blond hair being pushed back slightly by the wind, his icy blue eyes sparkling as he gazed at the beautiful white mountains surrounding us. He was wearing a blue hoodie and jeans, along with brown snow boots, and I two shirts underneath a thick green coat with a scarf and snow pants. Another gust of wind blew my hair out of my face, making me shiver. The sky was like a lake, so clear and blue that I wanted to dive in- very similar to his eyes. I stopped walking in the middle of the bridge, looking out over the river, him next to me. It's soft gurgling was comforting, it made me feel calm…

A scream.

A sword swung at my face.

A dragon.

Red eyes.

Someone hitting me over and over.

A tournament.

A tournament to find him.

He was dying.

Don't die.

I need your eyes.

I need you.

Let go...

He grabbed my shoulder. I blinked back into the present, with the white mountains and calm river.

"Lloyd, calm down." He whispered, smiling at me.

"Sorry Zane." I smiled back. "I wouldn't want to ruin our honeymoon."

"Post-traumatic stress gets us all eventually." He hugged me closer. His eyes were two frozen ponds. Two flakes of snow. Two icicles. They formed a lighter blue small star shape near the pupils, and close to the outside of the eyes, they were a darker blue. His pupils flicked around, studying my face.

"Erm… are you okay?"

"I'm fine." I shook my head, trying to focus on something else. I have to admit, it was difficult. His hair was a flat field of pale gold grain, his cheeks rosy. His lips…

I leaned in to him, our faces growing closer. Suddenly he put a finger to my lips.

"Save it." He smiled mischievously. "We have all week."

"Don't torture me!" I whined, looking at the river again. He flung a perfect ball of snow at me. I ducked right in time.

"You're a terrible shot!" I yelled at him, collecting snow into a ball and then throwing it. Zane watched it sail past his foot. He raised an eyebrow at me and then threw his. It hit me right in the forehead, making me stagger back in shock. He laughed and ducked behind a pile of snow. I ran around it and dumped snow down his hoodie. He vaulted over the snow, rolled, and hid behind another pile.

"Ahh!" He shook the snow out of his shirt and blasted ice at my foot, barely missing it.

"Hey! That's cheating!" Zane paused, then blasted more ice at me. I rolled and came up next to him, and tried to run past him, aiming for soft snow. Instead, he tripped me and swung me around to kiss me. We fell into the snow and sank into it. It was nice. Cold, but soft. Sometimes strong, if frozen. Like Zane. I tackled him to the ground and that's when we began to kiss. I hugged him closer in the frigid snow and realized with satisfaction:

We could do this forever now. We can be together. Forever.

There you go. I really hope you enjoyed my other works as well as this one, and all of you thank you for the support it means so much. I got so many reviews and I am more than grateful.

I'm deeply sad to be leaving this fandom but hopefully you will also get interested in the ones I like, or your own.

Love you all forever.
