Just a short little Oneshot about InuKag
Disclamer: I am not Rumiko Takahashi, why on earth would you think I am?!
"Inuyasha!" She screamed "Look out!" As Inuyasha turned to look at her, the panther demon plunged its fangs straight through Inuyasha's chest. The hanyou that she'd come to love so much let out a gasp of surprise and shock written all over his face, "No!"
Overcome with hatred for this creature that had killed her best friend, she grabbed her bow from where it had been flung from her grasp only moments before.
She drew, sighted and shot in a matter of seconds, and the bow thrummed as she released the arrow filled with Miko energy.
The demon disappeared in a flash of purple smoke. Kagome rushed over to Inuyasha and cradled him in her arms,
"Kagome, I…"
Those were his last words before he collapsed.
Kagome shut up from her bed, forehead covered in a light sheen of sweat, and she realised that it was a dream.
From outside in the Goshinboku Inuyasha's ears perked up and he heard heavy breaths coming from Kagome's room. He had a small internal debate with himself as to whether he should investigate, before curiosity won over and he leaped over to Kagome's window.
He saw her with sheets rumpled, and she looked distressed,
"Kagome, are you alright?" He whispered, half trying not to be heard.
Kagome jumped from where she was sitting, she whipped her head around, startled.
"Inuyasha!… What are you doing here! You're not supposed to bring me back for two days yet!?"
"Yeah… Well… what's wrong anyway?" Inuyasha questioned, trying to change the subject.
"I just had a bad dream, that's all,"
"Oh, ok." Inuyasha turned to jump back out of the window,
"Wait! Um… could you… could you stay here" Kagome stuttered, moving over to give him enough room. Wordlessly, Inuyasha climbed onto her bed, laying next to her. Nervously Kagome put her arms around his middle and leant on his chest. They both dosed off and didn't even stir when Kagome's mother came to check on them, smiled softly and closed the door.
So, how was that? It's my first time trying to write InuKag, I think Inuyasha is a bit OOC, but what did y'all think?
