For those of you who've played Transformers the game for the PSP, will know that the PSP version includes a number of extra characters including Wheeljack and Shockwave. This one shot is set after the Hound and Trialbreaker mission and it's cut scene.
He's Gone
"You hear me, buddy? You did it!"
Trialbreaker didn't look up as three cars approached him, his optics where locked on the still form he held in his arms.
The three cars transformed and slowly, the white, red and green racer approached the mech, "Trialbreaker?" he said, the fin like structures on the side of his head lighten on and off as he spoke.
Trialbreaker suddenly looked up and at the mech, "Wheeljack!" he said, holding out the green autobot to Wheeljack, "Thank the Allspark you've arrived, you've got to fix Hound!"
The autobot engineer and resident mad scientist made a sound close to a human sigh, "Trialbreaker, there's nothing I can do."
"I-I-I know you and Hoist aren't medics like Ratchet, but you two have patched me up a number of times before"
Wheeljack looked at Hound's still form.
Shockwave had found and activated the army of drones Megatron had brought with him for the search for the Allspark, thus leaving the Autobots heavily out numbered. Hound and Trialbreaker were sent to transmit a virus that would spread worldwide and destroy Shockwave's army.
The mission was a success, but not without cost.
"He's gone, Trialbreaker, there's nothing we can do, he's dead" the green tow truck mech, Hoist said.
Trialbreaker shook his head and looked at the two builders, "He can't be! He just can't! Not after all this! Not…because I failed to save him."
Sideswipe placed a hand on Trialbreaker's shoulder, "I know this is hard, I've lost team mates in this war as well, but Hound knew the risks when he came here. He's sacrifice his live to save the Allspark, to save the Autbots and humans, to save his friends." Trialbreaker lifted his head and looked at the red sport car.
Just then, Wheeljack looked up from his communicator, informing Optimus and the others about Hound, "Guys, they found the Allspark!" he called to his teammates, "Bumblebee has the cube, but the Decepticons are following him, including Megatron"
"Then we have to go and help him," Sideswipe said,
"But Hound... we can't leave him here" Trialbreaker said looking at Hound's body again
"And we won't." Hoist said transforming to his tow truck form, "Put him on, I'll take care of him"
Trialbreaker nodded and slowly stood up, carried Hound's body over to Hoist and place him into the space at the tow truck's back,
Transforming, Trialbreaker, Wheeljack and Sideswipe drove along side Hoist, ready to fight the Decepticons.
To Save the Allspark, to save Earth, to save their friends and to make sure the sacrifice of a hero isn't in vain.
"You did good, Hound," Trialbreaker said, "You did good"
