I don't own any of the characters, worlds, items, or ideas that will be referenced in this story. No matter how much I would like to. It's a sad world, I know.
I came up with this idea a little while ago.
"No!" a woman whose body was covered in icy crystals said firmly. She stood with her back facing the other being.
"Come on, babe! I did it just for you!" the man engulfed in satanic flames begged. He floated up to the woman and rested his hands on her shoulders.
"Get your hands off me!" her voice was laden with disgust. She turned and brought her hand up with a stinging slap.
"Heh heh,. You know I like it when you act feisty, Cali." he stared with lust in his eyes.
"I told you not to call me that, Inferno!" she turned her back once more.
The beings continued this rather interesting argument as the dimension they were in congregated. It was the result of Soul Calibur being thrust into the demon blade's eye. The formerly separate spaces were now forced to mingle by the otherworldly forces that sustained them. On the single platform they inhabited, the floor was coated in a fine crystal lacquer. Occasionally, it would erupt in terrible hellfire, only to be frozen over once more. The sky, if you could call it that, was occupied by various suns and voids that would devour each other. Stray bolts of violet lightning would fly through the air and shatter the floating ice gems that populated the empty space.
"Wait a minute, you mean you tried to destroy the world, just so you get close to me?" Soul Calibur quivered with rage at the recklessness of her ex.
"Hey, it worked, didn't it?" Soul Edge embraced her waist, trying to keep her in his arms.
"Well, nice going, you idiot! Now we're stuck here, together, forever!" Calibur groaned, lamenting her fate.
"That's what I was trying to do. Well, since we're here, we might as well enjoy, right?" He lightly pecked her neck.
"Unhand me, you cad!" She yanked away from him, seething with fury, "I can't believe you would do something like that! What am I saying? Of course you'd do that!"
"You know me so well." Edge hovered next to her, trying to embrace Calibur once more.
"Well, I guess it's kinda romantic." she thought aloud, "But still! It doesn't change the fact that you slaughtered all those innocent people!"
"Come on! It's not like that was a totally bad thing. Most of those people were evil and greedy, and deserved to be punished." Edge nonchalantly stated.
"What about the good ones?" Calibur asked.
"They've got to die sometime, right? They're just going to heaven early." He said triumphantly.
"You are the most terrible person I've ever met. I don't see how I dated you before." She grimaced.
"Babe, you're starting to get on my nerves." Edge's eyebrow twitched.
"Starting? I'll show you starting!" Calibur took a few swings at him, some connecting , some not.
"Not this again!" Edge groaned.
And so the ethereal beings started the cycle yet again. A tale of souls and swords, eternally retold.
I don't know if it was funny. Probably not. But please comment and respond ^_^. Kairu, out.
