I was there,
When you died;
When you left me.
And the sight that came,
When the blades fell,
And your scream,
Was too much for
Your little brother
To take on his own.
I was captured then,
When a marine
Heard my knees fall to the ground,
I'm sorry to say,
I had given up,
I wasn't strong enough,
To handle what just happened,
It was to be expected,
A bounty at my level;
No one could pass up,
Your blood was still warm,
Still spilling,
Soaking into my knees,
I hadn't realized I was dead,
Until I saw you face,
Smile at me,
And you lent me your hand,
As you led me into Heaven.
