((This has been my project for while people are away on all the websites I go on. Boredom-induced, loneliness-inspired, totally-random crap.))

Disclaimer: I don't own Axis Powers Hetalia.

I love you. You don't know it, but I do.

Feliks Ɓukasiewicz watched his friend suffer. He watched, he waited, and he prayed. But he didn't help. He never helped.

I am sorry for all the things I did not do. But I love you.

He stood back, and never went for help. Because everyone knew, and no one acted. And Feliks, afraid for himself, fell into that crowd.

I apologize for falling pray to selfishness. But I still love you.

Feliks had been in the situation before; he knew what it was like. That didn't mean that he would save his friend with empathy. He never spoke of that time.

Forgive me for pretending I cannot hear. Your voice makes me love you.

Instead, Feliks teased his broken friend. He made fun of him and pushed him around. And at the end of the day, Feliks knew that his friend saw their relationship as one-sided.

I do not hate you, nor do I think anything wrong of you. I love you.

Feliks dropped a letter on the doorstep. He knocked quickly, and then briskly walked away and out of sight.

You do not know it, but I love you. I am terrible and have been waiting on the sidelines for too long. But I love you.

And the very next morning, Feliks' friend was free. But Feliks wasn't. A phoenix was carved into stone and placed on a fresh mound of dirt. And if anyone decided to read it, there was an inscription hidden in the feathers.

'I love you, but you will never know.'
