"You know what Nico?" I asked him.

"What?" He replied.

"Shut up."

Nico just smirked and pushed me. Ah, Best friends. I pushed him back and he fell. I laughed but that caused him to grab my leg and pull me down. I landed on top of him. He tried to laugh but failed epically because my elbow was in his stomach. I might have done it on purpose. Well, no I didn't my lucks just that awesome.

"Not so easy to laugh now is it?" I growled playfully.

"No answer." Nico gasped, pushing me off.

"That's because you don't wanna admit I'm right because I'm a girl. That's so sexist."

"How dare you accuse me of that? I'm insulted. That hurts!" Nico said, putting a hand to his chest and making a face of fake hurt.

"I dare accuse you because it's true."

"Yeah, you're right."

"Ha ha I win, loser!"

Nico shrunk in defeat. Life was good. If only I had known it wasn't going to last. A few hours later a bad thunderstorm hit camp. What did Percy do this time? I ran to Nico's cabin, just barely dodging the lightning. When I got there I just about broke down his door knocking on it so hard.

"What?" Nico shouted, rubbing his eyes. Apparently he hadn't seen who it was.

"Um hello? How can you sleep through a fricken thunderstorm?" I shouted over the thunder.

"Oh sorry, and Zeus gets mad at Percy a lot. You get used to it." Nico moved out of the doorway and let me in.

"I was thinking we could go watch it!"

"You're crazy."

"Yes, yes I am. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEAAASEEEEEE!"

"OKAY! Gosh just don't whine in that voice anymore. It makes my ears bleed."

"You jerk!"

"Just let me put pants on will ya? I don't wanna go out there in a shirt and boxers."

Oh, talk about awkward. While he failed epically to pull on a pair of pants fast I looked around the cabin. All black. I could like it here. By the time he was done I just about memorized everything in the cabin.

"Can we go now? Or do I have to wait for you to try and put a ski cap on?" I asked, sarcasm dripping from every word.

"Lead the way Madam." Nico said ALMOST as sarcastically. Almost.

"Hmph." I stomped out the door and to the cliffs.

"Hey I'm not that fast slow down!" Nico gasped, once again falling behind.

Did I mention how steep the path to the Cliffs were? No? Well, it's like trying to climb up a wall. Except just a little more slanted. In return to his request I actually sped up. When he asked again I started jogging, and the last time he asked I started sprinting. After I reached the top I had to wait about ten minutes before Nico got there. When he finally arrived he was huffing and puffing worse then the big bad wolf with asthma.

"I hate you." He gasped, collapsing to all fours.

"Well gee, not my fault you skip out on training just about everyday." I said, turning around to face the water below.

The lightning was reflecting of the ocean. Bright white lines on dark blue was sparkling with moon light. It was awesome looking. I had to continually dodge lightning but it was fine by me. Dodge, Dodge again.

"Watch where you're jumping or you might fall off the cliff side!" Nico shouted over a blast of lightning.

"Yeah right!" I replied.

It's like playing dodge ball! Ahahahahahaha.

A strike of lightning just about hit my foot.

I jumped back.

Heard somebody scream my name.

I fell.

As I hit the water I realized, I loved Nico.

Too bad I'll never be able to tell him that.
