A backdrop fell, it was dark blue, covered in painted starts.
The floor of the stage was white, meant to resemble snow.
Batman and Robin, followed by Joker and Harley walked onto the stage.
They stood in a line, smiling.
Joker stepped forward, and began to say his rehearsed lines.
"Hello, ladies and gentlemen, fellow readers."
He stepped back, and nudged Harley forwards.
She started to recite her line.
"We have been asked, by which I mean we were payed, to temporarily put our differences aside."
Harley in turn stepped back, Robin hopped forward.
He began to read off of a teleprompter.
"We have been asked by... Wait... What? How do you say that? Maestro? Meestro?-"
Joker laughed, "it's pronounced Miss-trow, you idiot."
Batman shot a dirty look at Joker, as if telling him to shut up.
Robin continued, "We have been asked by Miss-trow the defender, to recite a small speech saying how much we hope you will enjoy Christmas."
"And all other variants of the winter holidays." Batman added, "we hope you enjoy yourself, and I remind you to drink responsibly, and act sensibly."
Joker looked over, "oi! That's not in the script!"
Batman smirked, "I thought it needed adding."
Joker swore at Batman as he stepped forward again.
"So have a lovely holiday, sincerely from us, costumed villains."
"And us, the 'Bat-gang.'"
Robin once again stepped forward, "Merry Christmas."
Merry Christmas to anyone and everyone who reads this.
I hope you have a lovely day.
