A/N: Oh, no. What am I doing now? I'm turning into an emo songfic writer… (Nah, the ending is sweet…for Robin at least.) Guy fans be warned, this songfic, though it reflects on both Guy and Robin's thoughts on Marian's death, you will get the impression that I'm siding with Robin. And you're right! Italics=music

I'm so tired of being here.
Suppressed by all my childish fears.
"Kill me. Please. I live in hell." Guy begged Robin.
If you have to leave, I wish that you would just leave,
Cause your presence still lingers here,
And it won't leave me alone.
"Then stay there!" Robin scratched Gisborne's face with his dagger and left him, denying Guy's wish for death. Guy wiped the blood away and he remembered her.
These wounds won't seem to heal,
This pain is just too real,
There's just too much that time cannot erase.
He remembered the fatal wound he'd inflicted upon her. Would she ever forgive him?
When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears,
When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears.
He remembered all the good times they'd had together.
I held your hand through all of these years,

And he knew he would always love her.

Robin , too, thought regretfully of his lost love.
You used to captivate me,
By your resonating light
A few days before he had thought he could not go on.
But now I'm bound by the life you left behind.
"Keep fighting for me Robin." Her words echoed in his head. He remembered the nights he'd spent tossing and turning because of her.
Your face it haunts,
My once pleasant dreams.
He thought of how cruel and unfair he'd been to his friends because he couldn't live without her.
Your voice it chased away,
All the sanity in me!
These wounds won't seem to heal,
This pain is just too real,
There's just too much that time cannot erase.
He knew his men loved him, but how could he face them after the things he'd said? Would they forgive his actions?

He remembered her devastation when her father had been murdered, but with that, he remembered that Edward had patiently waited to be reunited with his daughter.
When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears,
I held your hand through all of these years,
Tears rained upon Robin's face as he remembered his proposal to marry her.

He smiled as he remembered her humor about where, when and how he proposed to her.
"Robin, of all men, only you would propose to me over a fresh grave by comparing me to your weapon!"
I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone…
He kissed her ring tenderly as he knelt to the ground near the great oak tree in which Gisborne had once trapped them in.
But though you're still with me,
I've been alone all along!
Robin took the ring in one hand, and made a small hole in the soil with the other. Into the hole he planted the ring. He didn't bury it, he planted it.

"I will never stop loving you." He said. Robin was ready to face his gang, and he remembered her words,
"England needs you. England needs us."
