Ikuto spends first period dreaming of leaving town. Amu spends first period wondering where she could go.
Ikuto spends second period completely lost and disoriented. Amu spends second period meticulously writing down notes for the both of them.
Ikuto spends third period loitering in the bathrooms, his mind fixated on the pink-haired girl he knows shouldn't be thinking about. Amu spends third period missing him, but assuming he doesn't want to be missed.
Ikuto spends his lunch period at convenience stores and food trucks, wasting his money on snacks he doesn't even like, for a girl he can't ignore. Amu spends her lunch period wondering why he gives her so much, and what she can give back.
Ikuto spends fourth period with a terrible teacher whose sharp criticisms remind him too much of his father. Amu spends fourth period wondering how much longer he'll be able to handle it.
Ikuto spends fifth period asking her if she wants to skip the rest of the day. Amu spends fifth period wishing she had said yes.
Ikuto spends sixth period on a hill far, far away. Amu spends sixth period alone, and realizes how slow time passes without him.
Ikuto spends seventh period wondering watching clouds, while mentally calculating the cost of two plane tickets. Amu spends seventh period staring wistfully at the empty desk beside hers.
Ikuto spends eighth period feeling overjoyed. Amu spends eighth period by his side.
They leave without a specific destination in mind, but for once, both of them are content with where they are.
