A/N: Something different and interesting from me - a Draco/Neville fic! o_o And I have to say, I really like the pairing. XD I can totally ship this pairing. I must thank LJ's sortinghatdrabs for this (this fic was another entry for them - and another loser. x.x I'm up to four losses now, for those keeping count). So, any other D/N shippers? o.O Or is this one of those really rare pairings?

Congratulations on Finally Getting In
"Well, well, Longbottom! Of all the spineless creatures I was hoping NOT to see here, you were definitely fourth at the top of my list." Draco sneered as he set his school bag down.
"Malfoy! I suggest you sit and take out some parchment and a quill. The lines are written on the board." Professor McGongall said, pointing at the board. "Seven hundred times each."
On the board, the lines sparkled angrily at the boys. 'I will not jinx brooms to attack Quidditch players.' and 'I will not set fire to Filch's clothes or Mrs. Norris' tail.' Draco read over the lines and laughed out loud.
"You set fire to Filch and that stupid feline of his, Longbottom? I'm impressed!"
"It was an accident! My wand slipped as I was casting Incendio!" Neville cried out, embarrassed.
"Boys! Settle down and get started on your assignments!" McGongall said.
Draco reluctantly sat and started on his assignment, but in the back of his mind he tried to figure out a way to bother Neville. Half an hour into writing, Professor Trelawney burst into the room, hysterical.
"Oh, Minerva! Come with me quickly! It happened again!"
A blank look, then a sigh of annoyance. "Sybil..." She stood and shot a hard look at the boys. "You two shall remain in your seats until I come back. Keep writing, I'll be back shortly." McGongall grabbed Trelawney's arm firmly. "Come on, Sybil. Honestly, you're worst then a student!"
The door closed and for several moments, the boys continued working on their lines. Finally, Draco threw down his quill and smirked brightly at Neville. Uneasy, Neville shifted uncomfortably in his seat.
"What?" He braved.
Not saying a word, Draco approached the timid boy, sending him into panic mode. Neville tried to get out of his seat to move away, but his legs got tangled up with the chair and he fell over. An odd look crossed the blond's face as he kicked the chair away and hovered over the fallen boy.
"Don't... hurt me." Neville squeaked, too afraid to move.
"Hurt you? I only came over to congratulate you. I never thought you would be tough enough to make it to detention." A smirk as he stooped down and grabbed the front of Neville's shirt, yanking him to a sitting position. Confused, it took a moment for Neville to realize Draco was kissing him on the lips. Speechless, Neville only blinked in response.
"Congratulations, Longbottom."
The Gryffindor blushed and gulped. "Have you gone bonkers, Malfoy?" He asked meekly, sure this was a trick. Draco scowled at the boy, pulling him closer so he could whisper in his ear. "Don't spoil the moment, you idiot."
