Takes place after X3 when Mystique has her powers taken and is left by the Brotherhood.
Chapter Oneshot
After Raven Darkholme, the woman formerly known as the lethal mutant, Mystique, was found by federal agents at a site of a freak collision and accident, completely nude and appearing perfectly human, she had been detained at the penthouse and interrogated by the government officials who were tracking down dangerous mutants.
Henry McCoy, the blue furred beastly mutant who was a correspondant of the mutants in the U.S. senate, looked in through a one way mirrored window at a woman with cropped black hair and pale skin looking boredly and intently at an official who was interviewing her. His colleague, a fellow mutant, and leader of a mutant group called the X-Men, Scott Summers, stood next to him with his hands in his pockets. Henry spoke calmly, "She has been very cooperative with us and is more than willing to share as much information as possible about Magneto. She is an ally now and wants to take him down more than we do."
Scott schook his head, "I don't understand, she isn't a mutant anymore, things will be very different now. I still can't forget how many times she has tried to kill us though. She is safe now?"
Henry smiled, "Harmless as a powerless female. The injection did not take her agility and sharpness though, I'm afraid. She is still capable of doing much damage, but we must all learn to trust one another. Magneto abandoning her has turned her to us."
The interview ended and the woman with piercing blue eyes walked out and regarded Henry who bowed his head respectively. Scott on the otherhand, could not get over the fact that this was the same Mystique who had been the nemesis of the X-Men. She caught him staring at her intensely and she said sharply, "What is it you're staring at mutant scum?" Scott was taken aback at this strange woman talking to him and then replied, "Wow. You just, look so different. This can't be the same Mystique. Your human form is-is ravishing. It's an interesting change from your blue skin."
She narrowed her eyes and then wound back and kicked him straight in the groin. Scott groaned and bent over and Raven stalked past him, hissing, "Vile male, I will not be treated like a human female slave."
Hank mused darkly while chuckling, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."
Scott merely groaned and said, "We're on the same team now, that's just great."
A.N.: Just plain fun, not sure where I could take this.
