Prologue
"Stay away from me!" A gray tom with white and darker gray spots yelled. He barred his teeth,hissing,his tail flicking from side to side. Before him,there was a dark red cat with yellow eyes. "You took everything from me!'' The reddish feline narrowed his eyes,ears pointing backward.
"I did? Hmm.." The red cat stopped,his eyes going into slits. "If I remember correctly,you are the one who coudn't protect them,not me, ..Ashbreeze." The tom spat the name. Ashbreeze took a few steps backwards,shook written on his face. After a few moments,his fur rose again.
"Me? Me?!" He screamed, the flame his yellow and green eyes changing their light. Something in him cracked. The tom stopped moving and breathing for a few moments,before starting to chuckle. "Oh,right. I remember now!" The silent chuckles turned into histericall laugh. The red tom smiled,sitting down. His tail flicked nervously. He knew that the tom he knew has left lone ago. He knew that Ashbreeze wasn't the cat he knew once. Ashbreeze had left this body long ago,only to be replaced by the most insane cat that had lived in the Clans. "You know,Flamebird.." Smirked the grey cat,heartbeats after he stopped laughting. Flamebird only flicked an ear,showing that he is listening. As Ashbreeze got closer,the reddish tom became more nervous. He never knew what the other tom will do next. "I never liked you,anyway." Ashbreeze whispered silently in his ear,before backing out quickly. With a swift move,the tom slashed his claws at Flamebird's throat. The reddish tom stayed like that for a few moments,eyes open wide. After heartbeats,Flamebird's body falled on the ground. Ashbreeze stared at the dead cat for a few moments,then started to chuckle. He backed away from the body,soon turning and leaving it in the forest.
