Emma Spengler : Age 25 , Daughter of the late Dr. Egon Spengler. Strong willed, brave and intellegent she has been part pf the Ghostbusters since she was a kid. After seeing her father "killed" in action, Emma left the life and all she knew, in search of answers.
Oscar Barrett-Venkman : Age 30 , The son of Dana Barrett and Peter Venkman. Oscar grew up different then most others. He discovered at a young age he had an extra sensory perception that allowed him to detect supernatural elements courtesy of being partially possessed by Vigo the Carpathian as a baby. Smart with a dry sense of humor, sacastic to the end, just like his father.
Kylie Griffin: Age 29 , Former student of Egon Spengler. Interested in the paranormal from a young age when she saw her friend possessed by an entity known as Grundel, Kylie has devoted her life to studying the supernatural. Recruited into the Ghostbusters by Egon, Kylie is calm under pressure, smart and inventive. She has also been instrumental in helping the Ghostbusters develop new equiptment and upgrading the classics.
Jonathan Caine: Age 22 , Quick witted and adventerous he sometimes jumps into a situation head first. The youngest of the team, he sought out the Ghostbusters after coming face to face with the evil Boogyman, vowing to rid the world of the demon that tortured him as a child. The only member with little paranormal experience and knowledge, his optimism and determination make up for it.
Janine Melnitz: The one that keeps it running. Janine handles the day to day operations of the Ghostbusters. With them since the beginning, and gaining full Ghostbuster status years ago, she decided to hang up her Proton pack and concentrate on the buisness and training side. A surrogate mother to the team she cares about all and has a deep relationship with Emma Spengler.
Dr. Ray Stantz: The heart of the Ghostbusters. One of the founding members, Ray has been working hard to keep the buisness going. Getting older and unable to do as much as he could, he is always on the lookout for new talent to recruit.
Plot Synopsis:
8 years ago a powerful supernatural entity known as the Collector opened a rift from his dimension into ours and mercilessly attacked New York City, stealing the souls of the living, gaining power to permanently enter our world and rule everything.
The Ghostbusters were successful in stopping it, but at the cost of one of there own.
Emma Spengler, after 7 years, returns to the life she left behind. After seeing her fathers death at the hands of a powerful interdimensional Entity known as The Collector, Emma left, not wanting to be part of the Ghostbusting life anymore. Travelling the world, she conmtinued to study different cultures and religions, trying to gain more information about the entity that killed her father.
Now she has returned, after learning all she could she now believes that her father may actually be trapped in the same dimension as the Collector, and she knows that there is only one group of people to help her bring him back.
