A/N: for the record, this may not be much like what happens in the actual story, but I have not gone through G2 or G3 yet and I didn't feel like reading the whole story on the Mabinogi website. Some of it I even meant to change the storyline a bit (you'll mainly see that later in the story) and you'll know what they are. This is also (somewhat) a spoiler of some of the parts of G2, so don't read this if you want to find out for yourself!
Chapter 1
I was in the dungeon with four other paladin trainees. I really hate these harder dungeons but at least I had help this time. We were near the boss room and I saw a young girl standing in the hallway. I looked closer… wasn't that the girl who was with Ruairi? Triona, I think her name was. She started running away and the trainees started following. I had a REALLY bad feeling about this but I had to keep up anyway. They trapped her in the boss room, surrounding her, not letting her escape.
"Uh, guys? I don't think you should be doing that!" I yelled, but they didn't listen. "Yo! Guys!"
"Ahhh!" Triona screamed in terror before falling to the ground, unconscious.
Geez, she's weak, I thought. Just then, Ruairi appeared behind me through the opening into the room. He came over to Triona, then turned around and quickly killed my teammates. I gasped as he came running towards me. "Aw, crap!" and I too, was knocked unconscious, but I could still see a little of what was going on. Three, or maybe four, people appeared in the room. I did not know what they said or what they were doing but I managed to see that Triona was killed by one of the people, and before I fell completely unconscious, I thought, Take that! Damn formor!
I woke up, back in Emain Macha. "Well that sucked" I murmured to myself.
A while later, I had to go back into that dungeon, alone. At the end I found Esras commanding a giant golem. "What the hell are you doing? I thought you were on our side!"
"Hm…" was all she said as the golem turned towards me. I fought it for a while, hitting it with both swords as long as my health held up and casting more icebolts whenever I left the room. I finally beat it, but to my horror, I realized that the young man who was being "controlled" by Esras in the palace was lying dead, his lifeless form where the golem had just been.
I was too shocked to realize that more people, including Ruairi, had come into the room. I did not even pay much attention until Ruairi asked who did this, and Esras pointed her finger at me.
"What?!?!" I yelled in shock and hatred as Esras blamed me for killing him when she turned him into the golem in the first place.
"You will regret this" Ruairi said before he left.
"Dammit!" I yelled in frustration.
Now I was in big trouble, and although no one knew it yet, what they just did had condemned me to a living hell.
A/N: thank you for reading this recap of the main Ruairi points of G2 through the eyes of my character. Once again, this is not very alike to what really happens, but it's pretty much the same thing. When (or if) I make another chapter, it will be about the Ruairi points of G3, and it WILL contain a very noticeable change near the end. Sorry if it's kind of short.
