Hi, I need help
I read a story long time ago and when I came to search for it I couldn't find it. I searched everywhere, but I can't remember the author or the name of the story. Though, I do remember it was a one-shot and some of the plot. If the plot sounds familiar pleaaaaaase review its name and author! Thank you beforehand!
It was after the battle with the red death, and Hiccup and toothless were flying, until they hit a tower of some sort. Hiccup wasn't hurt but he felt bad that even after the battle he is still kinda destroys things and his father would be mad at him. Anyway, he comes back home but he doesn't find his father. Instead his uncle, Spitlout, comes and takes him to a prison. I don't know what happened to toothless but I remember hiccup being locked in berk's prison alone for few days. Whatever little food was running out from him (I think it was bread, cheese, and some water), his leg was getting infected for the lack of medication to it (the ointment is in his room), and hiccup was hearing things between the villagers who pass by the prison about "banishing a prisoner" and "Stoick will kill the traitor." Oh, and Hiccup thinks he is the traitor.
At the end, hiccup is so sick he can't stand, and at night Stoick comes in the prison to take his son. Hiccup, thinking that he will be banished or killed from all the gossips from the villagers, starts begging to leave Berk with his dragon. (After some sad, angsty stuff) Hiccup losses consciousness because of his fever. He wakes up to discovers that what happened was his father's plan to protect hiccup from the true traitor, Alvin , and that the plan demanded him to put Hiccup into a prison while the other riders guided the prison. Finally Stoick will say something about how he will kill spitlout for not telling his son the plan or something and it ends there.
Again, please if you know this story, have some mercy on me and review the name of the story and the author. Believe it or not I have been searching for this story for over a year and it would very generous if you relive my poor heart! Thank you anyway for reading and maybe sometime I might write my own story instead of searching for one.
