Translation:
Through pale white starlight they travel
Gleaming gold and silver under the moon
To the sea they walk without fear
Knowing that time has caught them
And moves them to the ocean road
Where the waves roll steadily
Moonlight dances on the surface
And mist scatters like tears
Clouds settle softly under their feet
Voices rise into the sky
Sadness and regret caught by the wind
Pure as Elbereth's harps
That echo around the stars
Far above the veiled earth
