Winter War of Love: Chapter One
War News
It was a regular day like any other for Princess Screwball, to wake up, check on War plans, and practice fighting.
She woke up early in the morning around 5 a.m.
She heard someone enter her room.
Ever since they brawled in the war with the changelings, they had to stay in Canterlot because her family got assaulted at their home. She looked up to see her sister Discorda coming in with a soft smile, ''Hey sis, wake up sleepy head".
Screwball moaned, not being in the mood to get up from her slumber.
Suddenly, Discorda summoned a bucket of water and splashed it on her sister. ''KYYYAAA!'', Screwball screamed, despite the water being really cold.
''WHAT THE HELL!'', Screwball said with rage, while her sister just giggled.
''Well that's what you get for not getting your butt up! Now come on!'', Discorda said, all Screwball could say was, "Ugh!''. As she got up she was very slow for some reason more slow than usual, when her sister noticed this she just had to ask, ''Hey what's wrong?'', she questioned, Screwball bit her lip ''Well I'm just worried of what today's meeting will be like'', she explained.
Ever since the war, Zecora told her that her fate was to either kill the Prince of the Changelings or be killed by the Prince of the Changelings, leaving her feeling very cautious and nervous.
As soon as Screwball reached the meeting room, she saw her parents and the rest of her siblings. Illusion the oldest, Discorda who was already in the room, whom is the second oldest, Athina the third oldest, herself, and the youngest, Zany. There was also her godmother Princess Twilight. Twilight was the first to talk, ''Screwball, finally you're awake". Screwball gave a warm smile to her, "Have any of you found out information about the war?'', she asked.
''No", Fluttershy said, ''But we did get some information on the Prince of the Changelings". Screwball's head perked up as her sister Athina handed her a cup of tea.
She trembled a little.
''W-What did you find out?", Discord noticed his daughter looking tense, ''Well his name is 'Mothball" and he has extensive training,''.
Screwball eyes widened as her pupils dilated. She could not believe what she heard, Mothball is the prince! She never told her siblings, but she knew Mothball.
They met when they were little but were separated three weeks after their parents discovered they were seeing each other. They haven't seen each other in seven-teen years! But she never forgot him, though she's pretty sure he forgot about her already.
Everyone saw her expression and started to get curious. Illusion got very curious and said out nowhere, "Do you know him?'', he said with an angered expression.
Screwball just scammered with her words and said, "N-No, of c-course I don't k-know him. W-Why would I, he's just a s-stupid changeling!''.
On that note she quickly left to avoided any further questions. But Illusion and Discorda quietly followed her to see what she was going on about. Illusion didn't want his baby sister to be anywhere near a changeling, especially the Prince of the changelings! Same goes for Discorda, as much as she wants Screwball to get a boyfriend, it could be anyone, but if it's a changeling, then she'll beat their ass and burn them into ashes.
Screwball, on the other hoof, remembered of how much she loved Mothball, and how she even wrote about him in her diary but would he even feel the same way about her anymore? She was even more nervous than before.
What would she do?
