A young girl in black stood above the cauldron of molten rock, looking deep into its burning depth.
Slowly she walked down to the furnace the glow of the pit casting shadows as she moved.
Now she stood at the banks of the hellish sea, not caring as the gases flowed around her.
The heat did not bother her, if it did she did not show it.
Reaching into her pants pocket, pulling out familiar black shades.
She lowered herself to one knee, unfolding the glasses she lowered them to the bubbling magma.
The heat scorched her hands, yet she was undeterred in her actions.
As though putting the shades on someone she let them slip away into the fiery nothing.
She watched the last remnant of a dark past melt into nothingness.
"Goodbye Uncle Albert" and with that Sherry Birkin turned to leave, never to look back.
