Hello everyone! It has been a really long time since I posted a story because I got a little scared when people actually read what I wrote. Sorry about that! Ignored to get back into the grove of things I wrote this really short story about what was going through Draco's mind as he applied for a job. I hope you enjoy! -Psycho
Draco Malfoy is an idiot.
That is the only way to explain how he got himself into this situation, he is an idiot. If he wasn't he wouldn't be sitting here, in the Ministry, waiting to be called in for a job interview. A job interview to be an Auror no less.
He has been waiting for precisely 5.6 minutes according to his watch, and had already determined this was a terrible mistake. If there was anyway that he could get out of this without being noticed he would, but as it were all four people in the room were not so discreetly staring at him.
You might be asking yourself; "who would want to hire a former death eater to be a part of the wizarding police?", and you would be quite right to ask this. Draco himself was wondering the very same thing as the door to the Head Auror's office opened, and the secretary told him it was his turn to be interviewed.
As Draco rose from his stiff chair with all eyes on him, he remembered why he was doing this. Because one certain annoying green-eyed Gryffindor had told him that he should. The boy, or should he say man, that Draco had been obsessed with his whole life had told him this was a good idea so of course he had gone along.
It had been Harry that had made the appointment, and Harry that had helped Draco create a resume. It was Harry who had escorted him to the Ministry today, and Harry who had wished Draco luck as he exited the lift this morning. If Harry thought Draco could turn his life around he would try to, because in the end it was Harry who Draco did everything for.
I hope you all enjoyed that, I know it wasn't much. Funny thing is I don't even imagine Draco as an Auror, I know there are a lot of stories where he is but I always think of him as a healer.i should be back to writing more now and maybe I will update the first story I did.
