Chapter 1: Who Is That???
Inuyasha woke up one chilly August morning, looked at his clock, and found that already he was late for school! "Damn! First day of senior year and I'm already late!" was the first thing to escape his mouth. He hurried to get dressed, got on his motorcycle, and drove to school, not stopping even for stoplights.
Kagome woke up and got dressed. She was late, and she was so tired! "Damn!!! Why me???" She got into her Jaguar and drove off to school.
Four Days Later
The first boring week of school had gone by, and thankfully, he hadn't been that late...he had only missed 5 minutes of the first bell. But now he had to hurry home because he and his best bud, Miroku, were heading to the Club, a small country club-like place where all of the teen-agers hung out at after school on Friday. He got on his motorcycle, and hurried off to Miroku's.
When they got there, there was a crowd around one of the pool tables. A young girl was playing a young man, and she looked pretty good. Inuyasha dared Miroku to play the winner. "You know i absolutely suck at pool." If looks could kill, Inuyasha's glare would have killed Miroku. "You try, you...you...baka!" Miroku said a little joking in his voice.
"You're so good with women, why don't you?" yelled Inuyasha. "Your own girlfriend even admits your a hentai, so why don't you just stop callin' people names!!!" Inuyasha looked at the stunned Miroku and shrugged. The game was over now, and he decided to take on the girl.
He walked over to the girl, and asked her, "Hey can I make a bet?"
"Sure" said the girl.
"If you win, you get 200 yen, if I win, we go to the festival tomorrow as a date. Deal?"
"Deal. But, just so ya know, I've never lost a game," she said with a smirk.
a very good game of pool goes by, and Inuyasha wins
"So I guess I'll pick you up tomorrow at 10 am???" asked Inuyasha.
"Sounds great," she said.
"Oh, by the way...what's your name?" he said.
"Higorashi Kagome."
