My name? Did it matter that much as to that everyone in the school knew who I was. Rather, everyone in the town know my name. To most, it would have been an absolute honor. But being as how I was, well me; it had been much on the contrary. My name, however, was a wretched word, a word that I had hated to hear those around me mutter the jumble of words I had grown accustomed to despise. Allyson Hanson; or as I had preferred to had been acknowledged as, Ally. Friends however, had never been a problem for me. Being the daughter of the town's first female sheriff mostly everyone had already known who I was. To others, including my best friend and more recently, the only person I could trust, Veronica Boyd, it would've been an honor to have been so heavily recognized throughout the town of East Hollows. Although East Hollows had never been a normal town, it was not a town where someone had said they'd been proud to call their home. I never paid much attention to the occasional disappearance of someone from the town, but as it began to progress and grow worse, our town had another thing coming. It was another day at East Hollows highschool, the hustle and bustle throughout the halls remained the same everyday, it felt as if it was routine when I had gone to my locker, and within a minute or so my best friend Veronica Boyd had appeared. She had always had some gossip to share, whether it be about a staff member or student, and this particular day she had more news than usual. Today the main topic she spoke of was how yet another student from our school had disappeared, now the students who vanished were never particularly close to our group, but this time it was different.
