Opposites Attract
She thinks of all the people she'll miss now that the Pokemon League has come and gone, and Paul keeps inexplicably making his way onto the list in her mind.
Sure, they never really got along - he couldn't even remember her name - but she feels like her life is missing something without him. He challenged her to think outside of herself. To roll with the punches. To try to make friends with somebody so incredibly her opposite. And if his opening up to her towards the end meant anything, she at least sort of succeeded.
The world was full of so many kinds of people with such depth that she couldn't have imagined before she set out on her journey, and Dawn now knew that her collisions with them - even the ones that made her want to scream - had been something valuable.
